This is a dry camp spot very close to town. A great place to rest while traveling. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. One could have a shower at the recreation building which is a short bicycle ride away. Unfortunately they didn’t have hot water (suspect due to COVID closure and not fully open yet) and it was a quick cold shower, but refreshing just the same.
Dump station for donation. Easy in and out for any size rig. Has potable water.
A great place to plug in. Jim Brandt, owner, gifted me his exhibition shooting DVD. Close to Canyonland Needles park entrance. Clean rest rooms and hot showers. I would have no problems returning when my travels bring me back this way.

Stay two nights at Jim Moss Arena and Campground and it was a great experience. The campground had electric hookup and water available. Bathroom and shower was very clean and camping in the range of Wyoming was a great experience. Jim and Paulette, the owners, were very friendly and accommodating.
We had plenty of space, privacy and freedom of movement. Be advised, this is Wyoming range land and it is hot in August and there were mosquitoes. The campground is close to Riverton, WY, which does have a Walmart and there are many places to dine and visit.

What a beautiful 360 degree view! Planted myself just prior to the high tension wires and I had a backyard like you read about. As stated previously, the first 100 yards on XX50 were rough but very doable. It is also very hard to find a level spot, I had to use 5 blocks. There are places beyond the wires, on the right that is much more level but you sacrifice the view somewhat ( and was already occupied). A would certainly spend a few nights there again.

A great place with the best view of the badlands. Although I did not experience, there is a potential for high winds and slick if wet. Had a great 2 days, but didn't push my luck. Perhaps I am a bit too cautious.

Very comfortable sites with 30 Amp and water. Bathrooms has shower, a bit untidy but good for a night. There is a playground for kids.
Passing through this area we experienced wheel bearing issues which meant we need to find a harbor in the storm and Pony Soldier Campground welcomed us with open arms and were kind enough to float our stay duration. Full hook ups in a perfect location to visit historic Fort Laramie, the first Wyoming settlement, and turned out to be a very educational and interesting visit detailing the westward immigrant migration.
This campground has many spacious pull through sites with clean bathrooms and showers. There were frequent trains, but easily overlooked given the cleanliness and friendliness of the campground owners. Our overall experience was excellent and we would visit again.

This is a beautiful place with miles of paved and unpaved bike paths. There are a number of campgrounds within a 10 mile radius. Cottonwood is a Corp of Eng. campground which offers electric (50 & 30 amp). No water or sewer hookup, but dump station is available. Bathrooms have showers and are very clean. Large sites offer plenty of space and there are several pull throughs.
