A great place to visit. The rocks look out of place. The desert is beautiful. There is wildlife to enjoy. The park is very big. Make sure you bring food and water. Its very hot out so stay hydrated. You can finish this in a day if you go early and keep moving. Visit us here for more details on our blog https://www.facebook.com/escapervist/

From Hoover Dam and the Overlook, this beach and the water are beautiful. When you get to the beach, the terrain is very rough and rocky. I wouldnt drive a car here. In our truck we were fine. The water is beautiful in person, but to be honest it felt a smelled a little stagnant. I would recommend to come for the views, but I would not recommend coming here to swim for the day. This place is awesome! Lots of climbing and beauty. Wild goats roaming free. We loved our trip here. Well worth the drive from Las Vegas if you are in town. You won’t regret it!

We loved Hoover Dam. Breathtaking views. Very cool history. A true human feat to see with your own eyes. We took the time to swim in the recreation areas on both sides of the dam. Something we will not forget doing! Make sure you leave yourself enough time to see everything. Please follow us @ https://www.facebook.com/escapervist

Nice views. Water smelled a little. Kinda stagnant where we were. Road down was smooth. Driving to water is offroad and very rough. Would not go with a car. You need a truck to get down. Please follow us @ https://www.facebook.com/escapervist

This thing moves fast! And it spins (slowly, but it spins). Take the ride to the top. When I say fast, you travel to the top in like 10 minutes. If you are altitude sensitive (my wife is) you will feel the affects of this speedy travel to the top. The views are cool. Not much to do at the top but have a beer or glass of wine and then travel back down. It is a must do if you are in the area. Please follow us @ https://www.facebook.com/escapervist

I'm giving this place a 4 because of how clean they keep the restroom and bathhouses. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The views are unbelievable, especially at night. Park has everything you need to include pool, putt putt, bike rentals, playground, etc. The sites were nice and maintained. Please follow us @ https://www.facebook.com/escapervist

This place is one of the best. Kids love it because the rocks are awesome, but also easy to climb. Its as if they were laid out like perfectly places steps. Get out and spend some time with nature. You wont regret it. This park is deceivingly big, so dont try to do this on bike or foot. You have to have a car. Lots of wildlife so keep your eyes open!!! Set expectations - this place is in the middle of nowhere. NO CELL SERVICE. BUT!!! They have the best wifi I have ever seen in an RV park. Connection got 22mbps down and 32mpbs up speeds. I work remote and was able to join all my zoom calls for the week. Park is quiet. There is a nature hot spring on the property which they route through their onsite swimming pool. There is a local cafe (Crowbar) which is decent food, but pricey. Gas here is out of control. Over $5 a gallon. This is close to Death Valley National Park. You might want to look in Pahrump, NV for a park if you like to be close to a town or restaurants. Its a 30 minute drive. Much better experience there for food and gas was $2 less a gallon!
