Great food. Great selection. Staff wasnt very fluent in English, but they managed to assist us. Sign in was confusing as we waited to put our name down but discovered you have to write yourself in. Please follow up here https://www.facebook.com/escapervist

Looking for a mud bath....lol - don’t go here. The mud stinks! But it’s a cool drive. It’s also an awesome place to get in a hot bath and enjoy the views around you. I recommend especially if you are in the area (hint, there isn’t much else out here)

This place is cold (water is year round) but the water is breath taking. Enjoy a day relaxing in crystal clear water. Rent a boat, kayak, paddle board and tour the area. You wont regret stopping here. We even saw a ram on our way out. Keep an eye on the mountains as you enter and exit. Visit us here for more details on our blog https://www.facebook.com/escapervist/

Every single main point of interest here is a 5 star. The mountains are unbelievable. You will be amazed to stand in their presence. If you take trails to the waterfalls, mirror lake, etc you will be in awe of their beauty. If you are lucky you will encounter (but respect) wildlife. We have been a total of 3 times here as a family. It may always be one of our favorites. Visit us here for more details on our blog https://www.facebook.com/escapervist/

This drive from Yosemite over to Lake Tahoe is work the extra 40 minutes. We were concerned about the drive pulling our 42' fifth wheel, but it was no issue. Its well spaced out, the terrain is up and down, but no grade that is too steep. Use your engine combustion or diesel brake on the way down and you will have no issues. You need a pass to drive across which they give you 2 hours to complete. We stopped several times at waterfalls, lookout points, and meadows. We made it across right at the 2 hours. This drive is cool for anyone who has been to Yosemite but never done it. Totally worth it. P.S. you can see half dome (and the hikers) from the overlook!!! This has been one of our favorite parks. You would think everything being dead would make for a lousy day. This place has views for days. From mountains, to valleys, to salt flats, to dunes to craters..... the list goes on. Animals are everywhere. Slow down and enjoy nature here. Truly nothing like it on earth. Make sure you have 4x4 and you find a way to visit the racetrack. Its worth it!! Visit us here for more details on our blog https://www.facebook.com/escapervist/

The waterfall is great! Let me warn you about the hike. Anyone who says its not difficult is lying to you. This is an intense walk. I recommend going in the morning. The desert heat in the afternoon would be unbearable. The staff here would care less about you which impacted my rating. They are very rude and act as if you are lucky to visit.
