Good place to stay, free wifi, complimentary breakfast, good location right off the highway.
Had a fantastic time here. $25 per person for the one hour tour, which is probably all that is necessary. Make sure and walk down the river for the iconic view of the house from down below the falls.
About the house, much has been said, but I was able to see the brilliant use of glass and stone, to create a wide open airy feel. This is common now, but was way ahead of the time in 1937.
As mentioned, it's not a large house, but extremely innovative.
There are some hidden gems on the property, so if you have the time, walk around and check out the nature trails. It was very easy to find the property and get in and out, but the property itself is not near any population center, so gas up before you get here.
Had the Bacon and Blue Cheese. Fantastic sandwich. Looking forward to coming back and trying out some more of the menu.
Moderate prices and plenty on the menu.
Had a great time strolling around the park and sampling food at the Food Truck Rally here. I continue to be amazed at the transformation of the park. It was cold out, but there were still plenty of folks coming out for a nice evening time.
This place sounds fantastic. Putting on my bucket list.
Birthplace of Rock and Roll.
Much smaller than it seems it should be, but if you're in Memphis and love music it's worth a stop.
Fantastic Steak and friendly service.
Must see if you are in the area. Only place in the world where you can see both alligators and crocodiles. And you will see plenty of both.
I would say avoid it during spring break times, or other times that are peak. off-peak visit is a must, the scenery and ocean is fantastic.
