Most recent stay was 6/16/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a Little Rig “Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area.

We’re right across the road from the restroom/showers. It’s an older 50’s type facility clean & neat. Shower stalls are private with glass doors and very tight 3x3 I think – so is the adjacent changing area with a little stool/bench for seating, plus rubber floor mat for feet as you exit shower; includes a couple of hooks, but would like to see shelves added for your stuff. Also need hooks and shelves at the shared sink/vanity area. Updating the place including new fixtures would do wonders.

This is Wyoming after all and is more of a campground, not an RV Park per se. Gravel roadways and somewhat roomy, level mixed gravel & grass site pads with picnic table; large pull through site can accommodate Big Rigs. Some staggered back to back ~ back in sites; grounds include rental cabins and clean swimming pool, and tent sites all on flat ground. We’ve been here 4 time now ~ and will be back

Most recent stay was 07/13/16 & 07/14/16 (I ‘m late in posting my review) . . . We camp in a Little Rig “Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area.

We did get close to restroom/shower [2nd row] but had to walk thru other sites to get there ~ no pathway through ~ the walk around to end of row was not convenient. This is a newer park built 2011 so everything is updated, modern, and nice. Shower/restroom building (only one) is also shared by pool guests – showers in separate rooms and private wing are very large surrounded by tall concrete walls. Each have a small bench and 2 wall hooks, but no shelves for your stuff except for wire shelf in shower for soap and shampoo ~ thank goodness for that. Rubber mats on floor but spray from shower soaks the floor. No ventilation – thought odd for new building. ~ Restrooms in separate area wing are communal – very roomy w/5 sinks and modern. But no paper towels for camper to use for clean up after use, only air dryers for hands and again no hooks or shelves for your stuff. Of course new washer/dryers ~ very nice area to do your clothes

New campground all gravel roadways and pads [a few concrete] lots of grassy area but no trees – only a couple of young ones totally out in open under hot sun no shade anywhere [they need to plant lots more trees] nice swimming pool though to help cool off. All sites are well spaced far apart for privacy – not squeezed together – each with picnic table and fire ring. Wanted to use our patio mat on the grass and gravel adjacent to our rv but camp management would not allow it – upsetting.

Agree with Teddi and Roger of Kent WA review + our recent stay was 07/10//16 & 07/11/16 (I ‘m late in posting my review) . .

Park has 2 restroom/shower buildings – PROS and CONS of each. CONS: We camped close to very old outdated restroom/shower building. While set up unisex style with private separate toilet/sink/shower rooms, all were dismal not cheery looking in need of some TLC w/new fixtures and updating,.Rooms were sized ok, but had poor ventilation and steamed up quickly and no way to escape the air but open the door, then you’re exposed. Showers were very small/tight w/little room to move around. Rubber mats helps to absorb the water on the floor – but still wear your clogs. PROS: is the shelves and hooks for your stuff plus a small stool for sitting [all thoughtful convenience necessities for campers] Also the newer shower/restroom building located adjacent to the pool near the entrance of the grounds is very nice All unisex rooms set up the same way but larger, more modern bright and clean. Nice if some day they tear down old building and replace with copy of newer building as described.

We camped at the back end of the campground on the grass and among the trees, which was very nice roomy and quiet. No issues there at all – nice area for big rvs down to tents. Campground layout was good w/pool, good condition gavel interior roads, cabins for rent, permanent and seasonal sites too – all well kept and neat looking. Appearance of grounds gets 5 star rating; it shows management cares.

We camped in a tear drop trailer with no toilet or shower, but needed 30 amp and water hookup. 1st importance on our list is to be close to clean (hopefully modern) restroom and shower facilities and this one certainly delivered. While it's slightly older, it was neat and tidy like it was remodeled in past few years with pedestal sinks with hooks and shelves for your stuff and private showers with your own changing room including hooks for your stuff and a nice corner bench for stuff and sitting. Wish all RV Parks offered all this one had. Tiled walls and floors with mats on floor to step on as you finish the shower. The shower itself was of molded fiberglass with built in seat - much like you might have at home ~ nice. All sites and spaces are large with cement level pad. look at other guest pictures ~ it's for real. You're not crowded here and nice green belts with mature bushes and trees separate other sites. We stayed in a site on "other side" of the creek, cross the bridge and you'll find many good roomy sites. There's a new section to the back of the park with more showers and laundry and party room you can reserve for large events ~ even has a deck with BBQ. They rent 2 Yurts and 1 cabin if you don't have an RV ~ tent sites too. Very comfortable older well kept park. Rated it a 4 star only because to get 5 star from me, it's got to top drawer and relatively - almost brand new.

Most recent stay was 05-05-16 [I’m late with submitting my review] ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining fly for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. Some pictures already posted of general RV Park + the sites, so I’ll focus on the restroom.

PROS there is a solid picnic table at your site to use. Facility is newer and modern and all sites level with full hookups. Restroom/shower/laundry fully tiled floors and walls and up to date, with roomy private shower stalls + includes separate changing area with wall mounted bench and plenty of wall hooks for your stuff. Hot water and good pressure. Sink/vanity area is roomy and also modern. Convenient to Grand Canyon National Park and close to town for shopping needs.

CONS narrow “green-belt” strip between sites with no privacy. Strip too narrow, could not set up our dinning fly over the picnic table, no place to anchor tie down straps to keep it up (very windy during our stay), and could not cook outdoors with camp stove. Faucets at sink/vanity area are automatic push button with slow no low pressure spray similar to what you might find in restaurant restroom, not convenient for normal bathroom use. No wall hooks or wall shelves for your stuff – gotta place on floor top of vanity which can be wet and messy. Glad they had paper towels for that. Park is alongside train tracks; you will hear the whistle blowing

Most recent stay was overnight July 7th 2017 – I’m “late” in posting my review We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area.

We did get close to the restroom/shower building – across the roadway from our site#12. The building was newly built with modern fixtures. Restrooms and showers are all in same large room separated by stalls with communal sink area in the open. Showers are full tiled floors and walls, with ample hooks and adjacent changing area with portable stool.in a private stall. Missing is a rubber floor mat as you exit the shower that would keep your feet off the wet floor. At the communal sink area, missing are convenience items like paper towels that could be used to help clean up after use – very messy and also need hooks between the mirrors for your hand towels and small shelves for your toiletries stuff.

Over all the camp was well groomed and tidy, with all level sites, a sparkling swimming pool, mini golf, kid’s playground etc. Our site was a W&E only but the camp had a nice dump station adjacent to the restroom/shower building. The roadways are paved as are some sites, while others were gravel and grass mixed. There is some grass covered greenspace between sites, not as tight or crowded as a KOA for example, but still narrow. Some sites like ours were in the hot sun with no tress for shade, while others had ample shade. It rained heavy during our stay for about 2 hours and our site had poor drainage leaving muddy pools of standing water although the sun helped to dry it up somewhat. This was an overnight stay camp for us; for others it might a destination because of activities and the fishing in the river that backs the camp. Also City of Frankfort isn’t far away and there are things to do and places to visit if you’re planning a vacation in the area.

OLD 50’s era RV Park
This is an adult no activities for kids rv park on gravel parking lot all with full hook ups. The pictures describe it well. Most recent stay 5-04-16 [I’m late on writing my review] ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. We did get close to shower / restroom building however have to rate that facility a mediocre 2 star them being ugly – old – outdated – in sore need of some TLC and upgrading – would do wonders for the place. The showers are generous size, have good pressure and lots of hot water and a door on each stall that affords full privacy. They were very clean and didn’t smell so that’s a good thing. The laundry room is much like the restrooms. There are 8 washers (only 5 were working). They are on the small side and $1.50 each. The dryers (6 with only 5 working) are good size but only run 36 minutes for $1.50, not nearly long enough to dry jeans and towels on one cycle– Also we didn’t see a Home Depot nearby, but there is one 50 mi away in Show Low AZ

The sites are the longest I've ever seen. All pull thru and probably 80-90 feet long. They are parking-lot style side by side on gravel, but they are set up so that the set ups alternate so unless your neighbor has the longest rigs and tow ever you really aren't right next to anyone. There are about six different sewer connections per site. Never saw that before - and the electric, water, and cable is located toward the rear of the sites. All worked well. Great for overnight stay in big rig motor home 5th wheel or travel trailer, but not so great for pop up trailer, tear drop trailer, and definitely not for a tent. Overall the place was very clean. No grass and the park is right in Holbrook and only a couple blocks from a restaurant, McDonalds, and travel center with large convenience store. The wi-fi even worked well! and Verizon signal was four bars of LTE. I consider this a nice place to use as a base for visiting the Petrified Forest National Park and whatever else you want to see in the area.

Next time we'd try to find another park

Most recent stay was 6/30/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop style RV" only 15' long w/o toilet or shower and thus rely on campgrounds facilities ~ so our critique is focused in that area.

One of our favorite overnight stops on I-80 E & W between OR and WI have been here several times, BUT is in need of some TLC ~ especially gravel roadway @ entrance (office) down the hill to the interior roads which are full of ruts ~ all they need is some new gravel. (the inner gravel roads are fine)

Then there's the restroom/showers; a trip to local Home Depot in Iowa City for some paint, updated fixtures, new shower mats for the floor, new shower curtains, add hooks and shelving in the sink/vanity area for your things, and add paper towels that most campers would use to "clean up" (wipe down) their sink area after their use, but w/o them there's no way to do it and that area gets messy (They do clean the restrooms - but still - and grounds keeper is on site keeping things around camp tidy)

There is little air movement inside even though there is a large fan/blower at the one end; it's not effective making it "stuffy" inside.

So for all my suggested remarks my rating is still a 4 . . . because it's all related to improving conveniences since the rest of the park is very functional. Yes it's true some sites are on a small hill making leveling inconvenient, but you can always ask to move; after all this IS a campground and not billed as a 5 star resort with cement pads and patio's . . .after all. We will be back again and again.

Most recent stay was 05-24-17 thru 05-25-17 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area

We did get close to the restroom/showers as requested; they were clean and tidy and ok - checkout my photos. Wish they had paper towels for use to clean up area around the sinks after use - very messy and no shelves or hooks nearby to hang towels or your toiletries stuff. Showers had floor mats when you dried off; so a + cuz you didn't have to stand on wet floor when toweling dry; hooks for your towels and clothes, so overall good thing there.

Not impressed with our site #3 maybe cuz we were in the "outdated" section of the grounds. The grounds were in need of cosmetic fix up although owner commented they were remodeling and building a new swim pool and restroom/shower building . It rained and our site had no gravel to absorb water. Instead the covering was a white crushed seashell type mixture that stuck to the bottom of your shoes and you constantly dragged it in the RV; even had a camper mat outside but it didn't help much; terrible old picnic table. It just wasn’t a pleasing atmosphere albeit the site was spacious and wide. I would still not return but find an alternative next time or ask about the newer renovated section of the park.

Most recent stay was 07/03/16 thru 07/06/16 (I ‘m late in posting my review) . .

1st we were close to restroom/shower/laundry building [if you want to call it that ~ reason for 2-star rating] best they tear it down and start over – just terrible. Well below expected standards ~ owners / managers should use the facility for a true experience instead of their own bathroom, which I doubt looks like this. In addition to the overall poor condition there is no privacy ~ a communal changing area ~ but 2 good things, it had a couple of hooks and rubber floor mats outside the old and run down fiberglass stalls. The shower curtains were older and in need of replacement but no shelves, or bench for your stuff. The communal sink area was just as bad ~ was one of the worst we’ve experienced after 3 years and 60,000 miles of travels camping all over the country. We were in the section nearest the playground. We camped 4 days as a base camp for finger lakes region and never saw anyone clean them ~ same cigarette butts and trash on the floor we saw when we arrived and when we left.

Note of interest ~ there is another restroom/shower facility adjacent to the pool near the park entrance which was also old and outdated but in much better shape than the one just described ~ we used it instead although it was a long distance from our site. Overall the campground itself is pretty nice; the interior roads were gravel and site were grass/gravel mixed and all sites had a picnic table + fire ring. They were fairly level, large and good space between other sites not squeezed together; there were some permanent seasonal sites but they were all well-kept and not trashy. Some cabins on site for rent plus large grassy areas among mature trees for shade great for tenters ~ and there was a nice swimming pool

Would stay here again IF they improved restroom / shower facilities
