Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on March 28, 2024Nice, quiet rv park and easy to find with their signage. Staff is very helpful and nice. Spots were a little difficult to pull into (even in a pull thru) in a big rig bc of trees.
Just stayed one night but the host was extremely nice and the rv park is super clean!
This is a unique rv park in many ways. It is in Arizona so there is lots of sand and rocks, but they are trying to keep trees going with irrigation. The park is almost always dry and windy but their maintenance crew is out every day cleaning and tidying and making it as appealing as Northern Arizona can be.
This is a big park with nearly 100 sites. The office staff manage it very well and are very nice to meet.
The sites are very long almost double most parks, but they are close. So the park has come up with an odds and evens scheme where alternating rv's enter at different ends of their sites then pull all the way forward. That puts every other rv at the same end of the row but a site between each. It is complicated till you see it.
The hook ups are easy, in fact there are multiple sewer connections, you can't miss. Each site has a picnic table. Wi-Fi is very good with a number of hot-spots, you might have to switch to another if yours slows. Cable is excellent good pictures with lots of channels. All interior roads and sites are sand and gravel; the sites are level. It would be hard to be a "pretty" park out here but everything you need to be comfortable off the road is here.
The bathrooms are old and facilities are dated but they are clean and comfortable. Much of the wear in the bathrooms and showers is probably repeated cleaning and scrubbing, and all the use over the years. We did not hesitate to use the bathrooms and showers. The laundry is big and the equipment newer looking.
What makes this park odd is that it is part of the town of Holbrook, no big deal, but it is dissected by two city streets. Named and signed, big, wide asphalt streets cut the park into three sections. So town traffic passes back and forth on these streets that is not park related and they certainly aren't trespassing. But then they also get city lighting and police patrol, certainly secure at night.
This is a good, well managed older park. The owners are very involved and practically dote on the park and their customers. Get off the road here and relax for an easy night.
OLD 50’s era RV Park
This is an adult no activities for kids rv park on gravel parking lot all with full hook ups. The pictures describe it well. Most recent stay 5-04-16 [I’m late on writing my review] ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. We did get close to shower / restroom building however have to rate that facility a mediocre 2 star them being ugly – old – outdated – in sore need of some TLC and upgrading – would do wonders for the place. The showers are generous size, have good pressure and lots of hot water and a door on each stall that affords full privacy. They were very clean and didn’t smell so that’s a good thing. The laundry room is much like the restrooms. There are 8 washers (only 5 were working). They are on the small side and $1.50 each. The dryers (6 with only 5 working) are good size but only run 36 minutes for $1.50, not nearly long enough to dry jeans and towels on one cycle– Also we didn’t see a Home Depot nearby, but there is one 50 mi away in Show Low AZ
The sites are the longest I've ever seen. All pull thru and probably 80-90 feet long. They are parking-lot style side by side on gravel, but they are set up so that the set ups alternate so unless your neighbor has the longest rigs and tow ever you really aren't right next to anyone. There are about six different sewer connections per site. Never saw that before - and the electric, water, and cable is located toward the rear of the sites. All worked well. Great for overnight stay in big rig motor home 5th wheel or travel trailer, but not so great for pop up trailer, tear drop trailer, and definitely not for a tent. Overall the place was very clean. No grass and the park is right in Holbrook and only a couple blocks from a restaurant, McDonalds, and travel center with large convenience store. The wi-fi even worked well! and Verizon signal was four bars of LTE. I consider this a nice place to use as a base for visiting the Petrified Forest National Park and whatever else you want to see in the area.
Next time we'd try to find another park

We chose to stay here on the recommendation of another fulltimer. The park is all gravel but very level sites with extra wide streets for super easy parking. Sites are 100 ft long with utilities shared. The office helps parks each unit and you are pullled all the way forward so your neighbor is way behind you, not next to you. So you don't feel too crowded. You park your vehicle behind your unit. As mentioned in the previous comment, there are many sewer connections down through the center, as well as, a few water connections. W/E were excellent. There was cable TV available. There are very few trees so there is no satellite interference. Park is mainly an over night stop over so there is lots of movement. The office personal is very friendly and accommodating. There is free coffee and wonderful muffins in the office every morning. We didn't need any other facilities so we can't report on them.

My kids would rate it a 5 if there was a pool, but for a quiet, clean, lengthy pull through rv park, this fit the bill for my friends and my family.

Large park with level gravel sites. Plenty of rv room at sites, very long. Laundry clean. Lots of rules about pets with no specific areas for dogs except use "the trees". Bathrooms are ok. Good for a night or two. Very windy here.

As a full timer on my epic adventure, this was a great place for me to sink in and rest for a week! I loved how the park separated 30 from 50 amp service so my neighbors were all smaller units. Wifi was very good so it was nice to catch up on my computer needs. Loved my spot with the trees around me.

The name. It says it all.
This RV park is super OK.
Price reflects weekly rate.
Weirdly long, gravel sites. Full-hook ups, including cable (with cord provided). Free WiFi available (didn't test it - but it's there for you). If the temp dips below freezing management turns water off at the spigot.
Coffee/tiny muffins available for patrons each morning in front office. Office also sells some slightly marked up RV accessories if you're in a pinch.
Rec hall is currently closed - it looks like maybe they're revamping it? Seems like they are mid re-vamp on their bathhouse / laundry house also. No playground/dog run or other activities available.
OK RV Park seems to cater to overnighters with really large rigs - we saw them pull in each evening and pull out in the morning.
It's OK. Really.

We stayed just one night traveling through. Has full hook up with cable. They have good monthly rates here too. Good spot to see the Peteified Forest we didn’t have time this trip. There is a train line close by but I didn’t find it disturbing.
