MUST SEE!!! We were staying in Fishing Bridge Yellowstone NP and traveled through Cody (because North Entrance Yellowstone was closed) and ended up driving 11 hours to drive Bear Tooth Pass! It was well worth it! The drive is stunning, scary, intimidating, exciting... simply amazing! Glad we did it!

We stayed here back in May2022 and were happily surprised. Spot was spacious but the grounds offered tons of walking paths and the dog fenced area allowed for FENCED SWIMMING! We loved the hike around the back and near the lake. We did see poisonous snakes so use caution! The campground is family friendly and was close to Charleston for site seeing. Easy check in process and great hosts!

At first glance we were slightly disappointed with the condition of the grounds, however once getting into the campground we recognized the amenities and the unique attributes such as COLD natural spring/creek flowing rapidly through the campground; it was the rear border of our site and my dogs absolutely loved it! There is another larger stream rapidly flowing through the campground as well. There is a fully fenced dog run that is quite large although it is dirt. My dogs enjoyed that as well. There are many activities for children along with playsets and giant checkers, pan mining activities, etc. The “Hot Springs” is a very large aquatic center that was built upon the natural Hot Springs. There is a family story you can learn about while visiting. It is still unclear to me if these pools are actually from 138° water of the Hot Springs they were built upon. Very nice regardless and free with your camp stay. Free breakfast and decent sized spots with trees, shade and some grass. Very family-centric.

Although this RV park has immense potential, we did not feel this area was safe nor can you use the beautiful river! It is too swift and polluted to allow dogs to swim or enjoy; and we were told people SHOULD NOT SWIM! Also told you can fish but DO NOT EAT them! The beautiful pool was locked / closed sadly! There was adequate grassy walking areas but no fenced dog run. The nearby state park had wild boar warning signs and my husband almost stepped on a copperhead… did not feel safe here either. Our spot was nice (on end with a hot tub) and we enjoyed the view of the water however, most everyone is a contract worker living here full time and the loud trucks were disturbing at ALL HOURS. Grounds were pretty, but I will not recommend this park.

Eagles Nest RV is pretty darn nice! The people were the friendliest we have met to date on our road trip; everyone inviting us to join in pickle ball and pool activities! The views here are magnificent of the mountain range and the DARK night sky is great for stargazing! No road noise at all. Our pull thru spot was an end so we had large grass and tree area on one side and healthy green grass on inside as well (which is rare in RV parks!). We stayed 1 week, many here are seasonal summer folks but the place is immaculate! Many very nice large rigs and the back in sites overlook the pine tree lined golf course. Workout room, laundry and gathering spaces all clean and nice! Almost everyone has dogs so there is a lot of dog walking, unfortunately NO FENCED AREA to let them run. There is a large field at front if you dare unleash them but we did not. Polson has a unique dog park on the Flathead River where dogs can run and swim! It worked well for us, but the river is swift and the fenced area is a steep hillside! We found Buffalo meat for sale, great coffee kiosk, and fresh produce stand in town. Eagle Nest was a great stop for us but there is not a ton to do for a full week… 5 Stars for this RV park!

This campground was conveniently located so close to the west entrance of Glacier NP, we were able to go with our 3-day pass multiple times. I found it difficult to get three nights in a row in the same site when booking online, so we were going to have to move twice after we checked in, however we opted to stay in a no sewer hook-up site (#18) for the duration of our stay. We have a 38 foot classA and the site was adequate, however not level and there is a steep slope to get to the top. We did have a large grassy area and more privacy than many of the other sites. There is a medium sized fenced dog park in a large field of grass for dog activities and some off leash running. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower had great pressure and was very clean! Pond and field area for kids was beautiful. We did not use laundry. The hosts here were STELLAR; friendly, accommodating, funny and helpful!

This is adequate for an overnight stopping point, This RV park is well run, they have some RV supplies for sale. It is very small but spots are decent sized, with grass and shade trees! The laundry facility was a 5 star, however the town of Wilbur was tiny, very few food options and in the middle of grain/wheat fields with NOTHING nearby except the Coulee Dam and a GREAT State Park! If you stay here, you must visit this State Park! I would not stay here again unless it were absolutely necessary for rest.

Family owned and run, small campground. Heavily wooded, with ample walking space for dogs and people. The fenced in dog park is large and clean, shade and water along with toys and a nice human bench! Although we did not use the pool, it had just opened so that is a nice amenity. The downfall to this park is the noise and construction. No fault of the owners but the entire road, Kimmie, is under construction and apparently an Amazon warehouse is being constructed out front. There were machines, trucks, and it is a gravel entry due to this construction. May not be an issue for long, we stayed in July 2022.

We stayed here for 5 days and used this as our sleeping spot while site-seeing in Coeur d'Alene. This campground has a lot to offer actually, although when pulling in I was not impressed. Once we settled in, we discovered the river/creek that allows for paddle boarding and kayaking, as well as fishing and wading (nice and cool.) The dog park was beyond expectations; quite large, shade cover with picnic table, brand new dog wash station, water spigot and giant steel bowl for water, some toys. There was a sizable area for little kids to play on equipment, the laundry cost $2.00/wash & $.50/10 min of dryer and was clean! Huge grassy yard for corn hole, horseshoes, frisbee! Site was gravel, and not level but shady and lots of trees and pretty flowers. Very well kept place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Wolf Lodge Inn for the BEST STEAK DINNER. Pricey but totally worth it! Went 2X! (Closed Mon/Tues) 5 stars all around! Staff excellent; some I-90 noise... we kept fans and A/C blowers on entire time to drown out traffic.

Completely surprised by this park! Perfect Paddle Boarding spot, beach entry for kiddos with a roped swim area, boat docks and wading area for dogs, HUGE GRASSY AREAS for frisbee or just lounging, playgrounds, bike trails. And our site… HUGE! With mature trees and shade and grass! Great state park for RVers!
