We stayed here for 5 days and used this as our sleeping spot while site-seeing in Coeur d'Alene. This campground has a lot to offer actually, although when pulling in I was not impressed. Once we settled in, we discovered the river/creek that allows for paddle boarding and kayaking, as well as fishing and wading (nice and cool.) The dog park was beyond expectations; quite large, shade cover with picnic table, brand new dog wash station, water spigot and giant steel bowl for water, some toys. There was a sizable area for little kids to play on equipment, the laundry cost $2.00/wash & $.50/10 min of dryer and was clean! Huge grassy yard for corn hole, horseshoes, frisbee! Site was gravel, and not level but shady and lots of trees and pretty flowers. Very well kept place! Campground Staff was excellent; some I-90 noise... we kept fans and A/C blowers on entire time to drown out traffic. Pull thru Sites down the middle were a little narrow, but all had some yard, grass, a tree or two and flowers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Wolf Lodge Inn for the BEST STEAK DINNER. Pricey but totally worth it! Went 2X! (Closed Mon/Tues) - do not let the exterior of the restaurant deter you... it a MUST VISIT!
This campground was conveniently located on/off easily to highway down to CDA. We rode tour boat, seaplane and visited the city dog park and heard live music in the evenings. We really liked Coeur d'Alene and Wolf Lodge Campground was in the perfect location!

We LOVE HH National! We stop here regularly, as it is a perfect halfway on our trek to Florida. Spots are level and clean, concrete, with immaculate grounds. The dog park is huge and clean. The dog wash building is amazing with multiple stainless tubs. The community restrooms are MARBLE and stunning; always CLEAN!! We love the poolside bar. We love the golf course. We love the proximity to the island. Generally quiet and always friendly staff. We use the walking path and have eBiked into Historic Bluffton more than once. Great little shop and good food at the bar. We will continue to come back; GREAT for families and adult only (private section.)

The park does not look like this photo at all; it is a beautiful green grassy flat space on the St. Lawrence River. The swimming area is great for kids. The power is only 30 amp and there is no water nor sewer at any site! $5 to dump and $7 to enter park. There are very few sites that fit a 38 foot Class A Motorcoach. Staff is rude.

Definitely great for families, it is quiet during the week and lots of kids on weekends. Very dense forest, StarLink not ideal with buffering often in spot F10. No sewer; typical State Park. Signage is minimal so tricky to find spot. Primary reason for my 3 stars: GIANT SLOPE ON LOT, our 38 ft Class A was not able to level properly. Front tires off ground substantially and still not level! Adequate park with water access and beach area, but quite remote.

Stunning and Active community! We rented in Pelican Lake for 8 months and enjoyed every minute of it. This location is closer to Marco Island than to Naples, which pleases us. The pickle ball is tremendous; everyday opportunity to play for several hours! The activities are fun and there is no shortage of them, every week there is something offered. Pool, hot tub, gym are 10/10!

Excellent RV park; great amenities with the most stunning views over the lake. There are plenty of places for you and your pups to swim, SUP, or just get your feet wet! Docks and boat rentals; even concrete sites, fairly well spaced, clean laundry and bathrooms, dog run/park is dirt but fairly large to get off-leash and run. The beach area is an orang-ish/ darker sand but the water has some clarity and seemed algae free. Troubling there were many dead floating fish… some say warm weather does that?! Locked swing-arm gate for security. Large pool area and plenty of walking space and green grass ( while we visited in Sept. 2022). We highly recommend this resort!

This campground was a huge surprise; the lake (although not swimmable as the beach area was closed) was so pretty! The lots are huge! The waterfront lots have great views, and sunrise/sunsets! The park was quiet; all services worked well. There is a playground and tons of green space. Trees were sparse inside park, so no shade, but they surround the park/campground so noise is buffered. We will definitely stay again!

We are glad we included this in our travel out West and to all the National Parks we could fit in... I will say, it is smaller than we thought. I appreciated the patriotism surrounding the Monument, I did not appreciate the fact that they would not allow a dog to enter under the arched entryway, even though this monument is outside. There were several people entering in shifts while the other stayed out in front with the dogs. The monument is magnificent and the museum and theatres down below should not be overlooked! Worth the stop; and yes, paid parking but "free" for the monument. We paid $10 to park.

Perfect spot for us to get out and see Mt. Rushmore, etc. Our pull through spot was very large (end spot with lots of grass for dogs) and most other spots looked large too. The pool and hot tub area was pretty and appeared clean. The nighttime ambiance was stellar! The dog walks were plentiful and large with lots of green grass; the fenced-in dog run was large enough, not huge but clean and had bags, and benches for owner to sit in shade. The egress and inroads were large and easy to maneuver our 38 foot class A coach. We have StarLink and it worked perfectly (no obstructions) and our Verizon service worked great here too. 5* for this KOA.

So awesome... we were the ONLY ones here! We loved this spot! So quiet overnight; no traffic noise, no boat noise, NO PEOPLE! We had our 38 ft. Class A overlooking the water of the Missouri River, and the dogs loved splashing and playing in the water. The grass here is burnt, and yellow and the spots are not level. There are picnic tables and fire rings at each spot. There is a single toilet and a stainless steel fish cleaning station with an overflowing garbage full of fish guts (smelly) but it was on the other side of the lot. We had one large tree, for some shade. The road in to Dude Ranch boat launch is 1.5 - 2 miles of gravel with washboard bumps but RV took it slow and we were so thrilled that we found this place!
