Save for the wind at the top of the hill (it is Wyoming after all), this place was ridiculously quiet and real beautiful with the surrounding hills. Very easy to get to from the Green River side. We drove up to the top of the hill then took the road to the left. All alone at the top of a hill! Can’t beat it.

It was a quiet campground in a beautiful canyon by a small lake. The lake has a beach. Paying was weird - you had to do it through Recreation.gov if you didn’t have a reservations, and that is all well and good as long as you have reception. The spots are smaller. There aren’t many trees. And the bathroom was locked! Luckily we have a small camper with a toilet.

Okay... I liked the spaces & trees. I liked the amenities - free wood, swimming pool, canoe, playground, nice clean bathrooms & showers. It was easy to get to, check-in, and whatnot. Though the lady at the front desk wasn't the most friendly - but whatever, I get it. We were a bit dismayed to learn there wasn't a dump station, and had to drive back to town to pay for one (we had been boondocking for four days and needed it!) That was probably our fault. It's a clean campground with nice staff, but it's a bit more cramped than what we like!

There WAS WiFi and a dump station - we used both. It's a typical campground by the lake/marina, with hook-ups and a kind staff. We spent one night and it was quiet and well-maintained. I have no complaints!

Great campground by the lake! Plenty of spots to pick from on a Sunday afternoon. The camp hosts were very kind and gave us change for our larger bills. We walked through the forest and along the lake - very peaceful and well kept! There’s even a swimming beach.

The good: We loved our site, #11. It was very large, shaded most of the day, and clean. We even had a herd of deer visiting a couple of the days! Bathrooms were renovated and clean. We loved hiking down to the river to swim - a tip: hike down and then go to the right where the water is calmer. There was even a rope swing!

The bad: Nearly every site in this Campground was backwards. I prefer my door facing my site, not towards the road. They were just angled the wrong way. It’s also quite a hike to nearby bathrooms - not a problem with us, but could be for those with no toilet.

We had an enjoyable time! It’s a beautiful park!

We stayed in the Snowberry loop campground in spot 122. The roads in the campground were a bit tight but we did fine (we have a 20ft trailer. Saw bigger ones going through fine too!). The camp spots were spacious, clean, and secluded. The campground was quiet for how busy the park was. We enjoyed the park itself, the museum, and nearby Bayview. Definitely recommend this place!

We stayed at Bakers Hole for four nights in two spots with family. Our spot was 15 (family had 13) and it was a great location! There was a hiking path right off our site. We were closer to the highway but the noise honestly didn’t bother us. We were gone all day anyway, and at night we hardly heard it. No hookups at our site, but there’s water at the entrance for filling the trailer. My least favorite part was how far the dumpsters were from our site! Inconvenient but not a problem. We drove around the entire campground for a spot and enjoyed that side. The river is fun to play in too! Camp hosts are great and organized. And it’s so close to West Yellowstone and the park itself - it’s great!

This was a PERFECT boondocking spot for a couple nights - and we could've stayed longer. It is paved to the entrance, and then there is a bit of a tight turn to the left as you enter onto the bar. Then you have to bump over about 300 yards of river rock - not too difficult, as long as you go slowly. We set up on the far end beside a table & fire ring, near the sandy peninsula where you can swim in the Salmon River. It was so quiet and comfortable, and close to Riggins if you need gas or food. There were 6-8 other fire rings to choose from as well.

This was a good, shaded, quiet campground for the night. It's right beside the lake, if you're brave enough to swim in the cold waters. We were able to back in easily with our trailer, but bigger ones might have issues, as there were some tighter turns around the campground.
