It is a tad close to the highway, so it's not super remote and as off the grid as I would have liked. But, it was still a very pretty spot and the facilities were clean. Some of the campsites could have used a looking over from the staff before new renters arrived, but we only stayed one evening and it did the trick on our last night of camping while driving cross country.
We stayed here 1 night on our road trip and just loved it. It's right on the end of the lake so there are sites right on the water; which ours was. They have free paddle boat and kayaks for use in the bay and also FREE WOOD to use in the fire pits. There are a ton of spots from the lake and up the hill. It was quiet and the spot was big. Would love to come again and spend more time here.
This was a nice little surprise after we quickly learned all of the area campground were full. Which at the end of the day, I am glad they were or we wouldn't have found this little gem. Arrival was easy peasy. We pulled in and their manager (who was awesome!) told us we could pick any open spot we wanted, and we did just that. The spot were large and for the most part level. They had some pull through spots along with some back in spots. We were able to sample each and were pleased with both.
They are under new management and I have to say that I am excited to watch their progress. Kyle, the manager, was fantastic. He is personable, very helpful, and seemed to be available at all times.
They offer canoes and kayaks free of charge so you can paddle around the lake.
The laundry facilities were top notch and SUPER clean. I didn't use the restrooms so I can't speak to that but I did hear from another camper that they were very impressed with their condition.
I will note that they have changed their name to Camp Coeur D'Alene since the new management transition.

This is one of the best deals in Coeur d'Alene!
The sites go up a hill and are spaced out pretty good. The ones in the middle are a little to close for my liking, but still nice.
free firewood
free paddle boats
free Canoe
The management seems to always be around and available. Everything is clean, and there is even a "secret spot" that can only be had by request only! It has the most amazing view of Coeur d'Alene! Not sure what can fit up there, but if you are awesome at backing up a trailer, I'm sure a 25ft might be able to make it up. Tent campers will love that spot!
I had 4mbs on verizon jetback LTE
Check it out and you will love it!

We met up with family for an extended weekend and season-opening for the nearby theme park (Silverwood's 30th Anniversary). The weekend was a little pre-season, so not everything was ready yet, but I could tell that it was all well cared-for and would only be a couple weeks before it fully in service.
The bathrooms/showers were clean and in good condition. The entire campground was undergoing a seasonal spruce-up, and even with the upgrades going in, it didn't feel like we were walking around in hard-hat zones all the time. All the staff was friendly and helpful and always accommodating.
The free WiFi was solid and had a good strength. I was able to get a little work done in the morning before going off about our other activities.
As we were preparing to leave, I jokingly told a couple of the staff I was conflicted as to whether or not I should give a terrible review and then be able to keep this campground a secret to myself. Seriously, though, the next time we are in the area, this is our first choice for our stay.

This place is equal parts RV spaces (most of which are smaller), tent spaces and cabins. It has a rustic vibe and is right on the water and backs up to the woods.
The spots are a bit tight and aren’t angled so they are a bit tricky to back in to.
There is a walking path into the woods from the back of the campground and they provide canoes and paddle Boats for guests to enjoy for free.
The showers at the upper portion of the park are individual rooms and much nicer than the ones attached to the office by the pool.

We usually do not like staying in RV parks due to the fact that people are too close and too many in one place. However, this RV park is situated in a nice forested area at the end of Lake Coeur d’Alene. It is a nice place. The manager greeted us warmly. She gave us a WiFi password, which our granddaughter was excited to have. Normally, there is no satellite, or cable. This did not bother us, since we do not watch tv on our trips.

Okay... I liked the spaces & trees. I liked the amenities - free wood, swimming pool, canoe, playground, nice clean bathrooms & showers. It was easy to get to, check-in, and whatnot. Though the lady at the front desk wasn't the most friendly - but whatever, I get it. We were a bit dismayed to learn there wasn't a dump station, and had to drive back to town to pay for one (we had been boondocking for four days and needed it!) That was probably our fault. It's a clean campground with nice staff, but it's a bit more cramped than what we like!

Good, privately run places like this are few ‘n far between! We booked a pull-through site about half way up the center section. The sites are decently terraced; BUT within each terrace there are two side-by-side sites. Even across the road (the back-in sites) everything was cheek-to-cheek. We were within 3’ of our neighbors RV slide.
Very family friendly w/ free canoe rental (note: there’s just one canoe), pool, hiking paths, free firewood, playground, dog walking area, great outdoor kitchens, laundry, and water access to Lake Coeur d’Alene. This is a beautiful setting in the trees and great proximity to Interstate 90. Noise from the highway was only noticeable during the day - it quieted down at night. Nice, clean bathrooms with great water pressure and hot water.
No Wi-Fi signal up near our site, we had to walk down to the clubhouse/office area to get any signal. This place was PACKED on a Monday night in July. Best to book in advance. I like that their website allowed me to pick our specific site. Very friendly welcome. You can tell they’re trying to keep things running smoothly and improve their facilities. We love supporting well run, cool, and fun little places like this.
NOTE: some people complained about the steep gravel road within the campground... yes, it is steep, yes it is gravel, but we didn’t have any trouble with traction in our Sprinter van towing a smart car up the gravel incline. If you know how to operate your vehicle responsibly, and not push the limits of physics, you’ll be fine.
