Very simple, but flat ground with fire rings and pit toilets. Obviously no amenities but an absolutely stunning location. Very quiet unless perhaps you’re here during duck hunting season.
Very pleasant spot. The host let us in and was extremely nice. Some of the other reviewers thought the on-site bathrooms were basic. They are in a totally usable state.

Many people have said what needs to be said. We loved it. Spacious sites. Great stars. Lovely sunrises and sunsets. Fill up water before you come. No problems. Easy access to most spots. Def would go back.

Great place. Only 14 spots for TT or Rv. Tight and uneven. These rugs should Park at one of the Rv spots in town. . Vans and truck campers are fine. H2o in town at visitors center.

It’s pretty. But is also small. Sites are ok. Bathroom facilities are decent. Pay showers. But it gets packed with locals on the weekends who use the boat ramp and the trains are frequent and loud. It didn’t bother me too much but I sleep like the dead and even I was woken up by them.

Extremely small but gorgeous spots. For most of the summer it’s reservation only via Recreation.gov. It’s very tightly spaced but you won’t even notice because of the beauty of the place. There is most certainly no service here.

Decent spot. Some sites are level. Others are fairly uneven. Bathroom facilities are nice. Caves were very cool. Not a great deal for people from outside the state. If you’re coming for the caves it’s probably all right otherwise you could skip it.

A long twisty and narrow road up. Large and tall rvs not recommended. Ok for vans, truck bed campers and smaller length TTs. Nice spot. Busy on the weekends with picnic crowds and the off road vehicular riders. It’s at the start of a OHV trail into the forests. No cell service at all.

I haven’t camped here but I live in town and pass it frequently. It’s a beautiful campground. The road past the campground is absolutely terrible. There are a lot of good dry campsites for Boondocking past this campground but they would be for SUV/tent and/or van camping only. There are 16 designated dispersed camping sites up the mountain. During the summer months, it’s often very very busy and can be hard to get a spot. Killer views though.
