Owner is very nice and friendly. He is willing to offer any help that you may need with setting up your rv. The campground is not fancy but well maintained. Sites are grass or gravel and relatively level. Should be easy to use any blocks you have to level if you’re staying for more than a night. We are not. There is no trash lying around and the grass is nicely mowed. It seems to be mostly filled with long term residents with just a few spots for overnighters. It’s off the beaten track so pretty quite just a bit of noise from highway. I would stay here again overnight

Great rest stop. Have stopped here twice. First time we had to park near wildlife refuge trail head. Haven’t actually used the dump but the whole place is pretty. The trail is about a mile long and a perfect quick place to walk your dog.

Very pretty rest area. has a very large pet area for dogs to walk in that is in a small field with a lot of trees. Pretty picnic area. did not use facilities inside. There is a small amount of parking for big rigs and RVs.

Unlike other reviewers, I have stayed here overnight in my rv. Both in the big rig section and the rv spots and have not yet had an issue. The dump is clean and easy to use and the whole area is very pretty. Great for a one nighter.

Really friendly and helpful owners. The park is basically a parking lot as the other reviewers stated but it is well maintained. It is right off the highway which is convenient and still relatively quick considering. I wouldn’t want to stay for multiple days during the summer as there is no shade. As we arrived in the evening and plan to leave in the morning that’s not a problem for us. Super easy access to sites and hook ups. They have bathrooms and showers. I’m not sure about laundry as I didn’t ask and didn’t plan to stay long. There is WiFi but it’s slow and they ask that you not steam with it. I do feel as it’s a bit over priced for what is offered but it beats hotel prices.

Campground isn’t large and fancy but was clean and right on the river with easy access points from the sites. Very friendly owners and one of (if not, only) campground that allows dogs on the Guadalupe River. Sites were relatively level and graveled. Each site had a picnic table and access to river. Sites are relatively tight so make sure you leave room for your slides. I forgot to get pictures as I wasn’t at the site all day due to the rain and visiting family in New Braunsfels, which is close by. Many sites had trees for shade and helped add charm to the campground. I’d like to come back in the summer to hang out and tube.

Looks well maintained and clean. We only stayed 1 night and did not use any of the facilities. It was a bit annoying that with the campground only being about 1/3 full they put us right next to another camper. Which was frustrating as we arrived late and disturbed them a bit. They were friendly and talkative but I was beat. Lots of dogs that you can hear in the morning if that bothers you. Small sites but shady and well maintained. Level concrete pads. Overall good short experience.

This was a quick overnight stop for us. Everything was very well maintained and the staff was super friendly on the phone. We arrived late so they left a map and site number on the door to office with a note telling us to call them if there was a problem. It’s a cute little place with very flat spots ( mostly pull throughs) and right by the highway and a large gas station which was good for us as we wanted to stay close to keep moving the next day. The cabins on location were adorable but we didn’t look inside. We would definitely stay here again.

So the drive off the highway to the campground seemed a bit like that movie Wrong Turn but is still very pretty. Finding it is not hard but keep you eyes open for the sign to turn in. It is partially covered with underbrush. The owner is super friendly and helpful and the campsites are kitschy and spread out. Also, make sure you call in as my email was never responded to. There is a small putt putt course that was fun for the 12 yr old and I. The campground seemed messy( not dirty, more disorganized) but really pretty. We had the campsite right by the putt putt which was great for the one night we stayed. That may have been annoying if we weren’t here during COVID and people were staying out later. The owner only takes cash which is kind of annoying but I get it as my family is full of small business owners as well. As stated before the WiFi is not great and there is no cable but since we were not staying long it wasn’t really an issue for us. Overall, it is a great place to stay overnight or a couple days for sure.

Very well maintained and nicely thought out park. We only stayed the night but the gravel spot we stayed in was large and level. Easily accommodating our 46 ft fifth wheel. It is close to the highway so some spots were probably noisy. Ours was a bit away from the highway so we did not notice it much. There is an adorable pool and cute little playground. As well as, a tiny dog run. There is, also, a nice area set up for horseshoes and corn hole. We were not there long enough to visit the market but it looked cute as well.
