Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on May 15, 2023Overall this would be a great place to stay if you have business or relatives in the area or if you are planning to attend area festivals or events and see the unique sites of the area. Have not stayed here. We were checking it out as a possibility. ( Have been able to stay at a relatives near by ) This is a newer park that is very clean. Nice turnarounds with concrete pads including full hookups. Some with a little shade many without. At our visit, all newer RVs. There is a new building at the entrance, looks like it is still in progress for possible office and laundry services. Located about 10 minutes from Hwy 90. Should be overall quiet. There is a one street neighborhood next door and highway 90 noise is minimal. Likely overall very quiet evenings. We had 2 to 3 bars of Verizon cell service while driving thru.

We stayed here for 2 months while handling some work in the area. The place is near empty during the week, but fills up on the weekend due to the nearby sports complex. Relatively new park with excellent spacing, hookups, and level pads. Owner, John, is here everyday and always greets people with a smile. Less than 5 minutes to a nice grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, and more.
Wouldn't consider this a one night stop if passing by I-10 because it's so far south, but if you need to spend a little while in Lafayette this is an excellent location. Will stay again when back in town for work!

This campground has great potential, but is too expensive for a concrete pad with full hook ups. The location is not too bad if you're looking for proximity to Lafayette or the sports complex nearby. No pool, no showers, no laundry, no fire rings. I'd camp here again only if there are no other options.

$20 a night monthly rate, $34 a night Weekly rate. Very reasonable. Small Laundry area is now available.2 New Maytag coin machine sets. Also one very nice shower if needed. Most people here use their rigs for showers. Looks like the front building is rented out for gatherings on occasion. We stayed a month visiting family. Some rigs are here for work, most are visiting and passing through.
The owner, John, is great and very accommodating. Depending on your rig the sewer connections will require extensions to reach located at the back of the concrete pad. We needed two extension, we only had one and John had a loaner available. .Water pressure is great. WIFI is great, very helpful. Verizon service is very good.
Close to the Youngsville Sports Complex if you like room to run for exercise. Many Great local restaurants and bars near by. Two very good grocery stores near by.
The little pond in the back is great for the kids to test out catch release fishing and there is a small play set at the front of the park for kids to play.

This site has the biggest concrete pad I’ve had at a site. All 32 sites are in great condition (as it’s all so new). A pretty creek runs next to it and the tiny pond is peaceful. The laundry machines are spotless, and the shower is nice.
The gentleman who built and runs the place is great.

Newer campground conveniently located near the sports complex in Youngsville. The sites are full-hookup sites with a concrete pad that is wide enough to park the truck beside the front of our 5th wheel trailer. The sites are rather close together with no vegetation or screening between for privacy. No picnic table, fire ring or pool but it suited our needs when visiting family in the area. Didn’t check the restrooms, showers or laundry as we use our own facilities. No one was in the office when we arrived but John, the owner, stopped by our site the next day. This is the best campground we have found in the area and will return when our travels take us through the area again.

Great campground! Clean well kept campground, very quiet even when full on the weekends. There is a good mix of weekenders, full time RVers, and out of town workers. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. John the owner is great, stopped in to greet us when we arrived and thanked us for staying with him. Clean large concrete pads to park on, everything worked great. Would definitely recommend this place!

Booked here a couple weeks over the holidays. Clean, level, concrete back in spots with full hook ups. John, the owner, is super friendly and offered to help back in and hook up if needed. There may be a dozen long term residents, but everyone is quiet and keep things neat and tidy.

We loved it here. Stayed one night as a stop over and would highly recommend. Bonus perk. There is a Costco 15 minutes from here with Diesel Gas.

We needed to have a repair to RV, campground was very close to service center. We found the place very clean, level and well maintained. John and his wife are the nicest friendliest people. They were so helpful in our time of time. We will stay here whenever in the area again. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM
