We have stayed here several times. There is electric scattered over the large parking lot and also among the trees beside the fairgrounds. Water and the dump station is close to the entrance along with the pay station. Most of the time there are only a few trailers and you would have a choice of places to hook-up to electric. Although it is a fairground and they do have large activities such as livestock shows, rodeos, carnivals and festivals. It would be good to check their web site for activities. A few OTA TV channels are available. Verizon and ATT have good signals. The nights are mostly quite but there is a railroad close by.
We called the city and they said we could fill up water here at no charge. It looks like a nice quiet spot if you need a layover for the night!
We camped here during the annual Walnut Valley Festival in September. 2000+ campers and 12,000 festival goers. The camp ground was great. No specific site numbers, kind of scattered camping. Tons of electrical poles set all throughout the area, 15 & 30 amp. The toilets are located at the grandstand . We had lots of porta-potties set up so didn’t have to walk to grandstand. Lively wooded and shaded areas throughout. This would be a great spot for family and friends to gather. Water and sewer is available. Cell service is really spotty for T-mobile.
