Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on June 27, 2022Owner or manager Gina was super friendly on the phone and gave us great directions where we could see easy landmarks with big RV sign at the exit and even entering the campground everything was well marked. We were able to take a nice even pull Through space and while we could hear it just to train and some highway noise and never kept us awake it was very subtle.
We were able to stay hooked up on our way toward Chicago and had a lovely overnight stop.

What this place lacks in *dazzle* is made up for in *clean, cozy, comfort*. We were greeted with a smile, bag of popcorn, great pen and coins for the shower (as we are in a small rig). The sites are perfectly level - AMEN - and we could just drive in and get settled. While they are adjacent to I-70 and there is some road noise, it isn't overwhelming nor irritating...more like background 'white' noise. I'll stay here again anytime I'm passing through.

Very well-maintained campground; facilities (bathroom/shower) were minimal but very clean; staff was very helpful and friendly; Pay shower.

We called in route. They had a pull through so we didn’t have to unhook. Friendly people. The popcorn was great!

Homewood RV is nice, small park. It’s just off I-35, so there is a bit of road noise. Depending on the season, the surrounding trees help cut down that noise. The overnight/short term sites are mostly level and have full hook ups. The owners are really nice and helpful. Overall it’s a nice spot to stop for a night or two.

We pick campgrounds on the day we need them. We called while still 50 miles away, left voicemail and got a callback within minutes. The manager suggested using their website which we did, picking a backin site.
Later the manager called us back and offered a drive thru. Took that.
Campground was very quiet during the day and at night despite nearby highway.
Only one restroom/shower but very clean. Nice laundry facilities too.
Had an issue with showe coin box but manager took care of it asap.

I liked the online reservations. Mainly because we never saw anyone that might be running the park. Wanted propane. Finally Left at 8am with no response from office. I guess they “open” at 9. Anyway. Clean and quiet except for two men screaming and cursing each other at 7am. I guess I would stay for a night again. Maybe.
