“North Cascades National Park waterfall”
Follow the pedestrian walkway to view the impressive Gorge Creek Falls. Water cascades 242 feet down the mountain before entering Gorge Lake, passing through the Gorge Powerhouse to the Skagit River. Water flows year-round, with the largest amount in spring and early summer during snow melt. Walk a short interpretive trail for expansive views of Gorge Lake and Gorge Dam. The first .3 miles of the paved path is accessible; the last .5 miles of unpaved trail winds through the forest in a loop back to the parking area.
