May 28th, 2021: RVer report confirms numerous reports from Sept 2020 & earlier, & info provided by TX DOT. Overnight RV Parking (not camping) for up to 24 hours is allowed in all Rest Areas on Texas Highways. Route 66 Theme rest area. Entire rest area slopes uphill from W to E. Lighted, believed to be safe. Likely noise from I-40 & from trucks parked here. Restrooms, Picnic Tables, Playground, Diaper Changing stations, Drinking Water, Telephones, Vending Machines, Interpretive Displays.

I-40 EB, ~ Milepost 129, serving EB traffic.Exit to Rest Area; then small RVs that will fit in a single auto parking space keep L to Auto parking area; longer RVs & RVs towing keep R to Truck parking area.
