Gristmill Farms RV Park

We stayed here 2 nights. Very pleased. Brand new park; opened July 22, 2022. Gravel sites that are level and easy to get into and out of. Friendly office staff.

I’m sure they are still getting things in order. Need a folding table, waste basket, and hanger rack in the laundry room. The water spigot was below grade in a small round irrigation box. Very difficult to access the threads on the spigot. There is no room to install a pressure regulator on the spigot; you need a short length of hose. Picnic tables at each site would be a welcome addition. 50/30/20 power at each site. Sewer connection was easy to get to.

Road noise from adjacent high is noticeable.

Avery’s BBQ is right down the road; excellent food.

Arrived early evening. Called number on office window. Online check in and pay easy. Gravel roads and level sites. Very clean. About 6 full timers but plenty of spaces. Some pull through and back ins around the perimeter. Electric pedestal was a little low but clean power. Water to sites was turned off for winter but water was available behind office. Next to 2 lane road but noise was low. Good location and grocery/hardware stores in town. Nice city park and playground.

We arrived after a windy day of travel after hours. Easy communicating with the hosts of this new place. Loved the cows out behind the park. Easy in and out.

The rate is $55 per night! No shower, no restroom, no WiFi. Right on highway with lots of noise.
