“Styled after a 1900's country home”
Burke and Ann Masterson, proprietors of the Alpine Inn Bed and Breakfast, welcome visitors to the quaint community of Alpine. Styled after a country home, the Inn features all the character and warmth you would expect from the early 1900's, plus the amenities of today. A tour of the grounds reveals an early 20th century post and beam barn, outbuildings constructed from logs of the original Bush Fort: and an above ground fruit cellar. Relaxation in the cool mountain air is guaranteed as you lounge on the porch, stroll through the gardens or just enjoy the breathtaking views from the decks. Inside, an exposed oak stair case graces the two story entry, leading into the parlor and dining room areas. The bay windows and nine foot ceilings lend to the feeling of wide open spaces, while the oak floors, parlor stove, antique furnishings and period fixtures take you back a hundred years. Many say the fresh mountain air enhances your taste buds and you'll enjoy every minute of dining at the Alpine Inn. Fresh fruits in season along with homemade breads and muffins might fill the breakfast table, along with tasty quiches, juices and a variety of coffees and teas. Indulge your taste buds in the dining room or outside on the adjoining deck.
