Nice little park right on the river and close to town. Spot 1 was right by the road so some road noise but quiet at night. Very clean and well maintained. The guy running it is very nice and friendly. The river was quite high and running fast as we were here in early June.

Century 2 Campground is conveniently located on the north side of Salmon right on the river. It's directly on Hwy 93 which had a few loud bikes and trucks pass by but was very quiet at night. It's an older campground run by an interesting older gentleman. I think we'd have liked this campground more if we'd been camping in a smaller (<28 ft) travel trailer or motorhome. There are 5 very nice pull through sites for rigs of that size. All are nestled under big cottonwood trees with glorious shade for a hot summers day.
For bigger rigs like ours though the only available sites were at the north and south ends stacked parking lot style. Most of these sites were configured for motorhomes not trailers. There are 2 nice sites right along the river available for an extra fee which we might have been able to fit into. Unless you were in one of the riverfront sites then the bigger rigs had no real river view. The south end had shade, not the north. Our site (16) was the only site on the north end suitable for trailers/fifth wheels with utilities on the correct side for backing in. We faced the nearby Sinclair Service Station with lights you can see from outer space. We had to cover the door window & skylights to make it dark enough to sleep.
On the plus side the (Verizon) cell service was strong and the campground wifi was surprisingly good. There are showers and a laundry. There's also a shared deck so everyone can go out and enjoy the river. The town center is only minutes away. There's a good grocery store, hardware, auto parts and other handy things in town.

He would not let me put up the play yard for my dogs. Plus I can only potty them by the street which is a long way for little legs and bladders. We won’t stay again.

We travel full-time and used Century 2 for laundry and needed connectivity while traveling in Idaho. We'd been camping in Sawtooth National Forest for a week prior to our arrival.
The reviews, notwithstanding the one about a dog, are accurate. Older, clean, nicely kept park run by an older gentleman. We were booked for two nights and extended a night because it's pleasant here under the shade of the nice trees on the property. Highs in the 80's and we've yet to run our air conditioner.

Nice, clean rv park. Big shade trees and green grass. Our site was skinny, but it had a paved patio and picnic table. Last posted Campendium price was $35, but this is just the base price. Once the slide fee of $2/slide and extra person fee of $8/person after the first two plus tax were added, we totaled $60 and change. It’s my fault for not double checking the fee on the website or asking when I called, but I wanted to provide the extra info on this site.

This campground used to charge per slide and was not very kid friendly but the new owners have taken over and are making the needed changes and are very nice people. They no longer charge per slide and they love having families in the park. The campground is beautiful with huge shade trees and flowers. The spots are level and most have good space between rigs. Cell phone reception for att and Verizon is great but the campground also has free wifi. Best campground by far in salmon idaho!

We had an additional cost of 12.36 for a pet fee, a booking fee, and taxes. We never saw the camp host. He was on the property but stayed behind a locked office door and did not respond to a knock-- so you better not have any questions!!! We had advance reservations so drove right to our site. The site was small, but grassy and had a nice view of the river. It is an older and smaller park. We were not impressed. Saw nicer parks further north down the road. The best feature was the option to walk downtown.

we stayed here in 2020 during the owner transition and experienced excellent interaction with staff/owners. Small convenience store with fuel and inside cafe right next door. Campground right on Salmon River with soothing sounds of water. Grass green, tall stately shade trees and well kept.grounds..some traffic. noise but not extreme. We will stay again. Loved it.
