“an experience you will never forget”
With its spectacular setting on both the Lewis and Clark and Nez Perce Trails (Highway 28, Idaho), the Solaas Bed and Breakfast is perhaps the most historic and charming inn located in Salmon, Idaho. Visiting this historic gem, with its panoramic views of the Continental Divide, will be an experience you will never forget. This historic building was constructed in 1905 as a stagecoach stop along the Red Rock Stage Road. It was later converted into a train depot, and then a hotel for the G & P Railroad. Today, as the Solaas Bed and Breakfast, it continues the tradition of providing a refreshing stop for weary travelers.
I had the Great fortune of staying at the Solaas B&B for the better part of a month in September of 2006. This family is Salt-of-the-Earth. KInd, considerate, warm, caring and will go the extra yard to make your stay one you will always very fondly remember. I am looking forward to staying again this year 2020 and find myself anxious to get there. I highly recommend this very fine B&B all with an open heart to receive of the goodness you will find.
