Southern Wave

A visit to South Padre Island or the Rio Grande Valley wouldn't be complete without a cruise on The Southern Wave. The Southern Wave is a large, stable and comfortable sailing Catamaran that is perfect for a leisurely day's sail, an exciting afternoon of dolphin watching, or experience an evening watching the breath-taking South Padre Island sunset over the water on one of our famous dinner cruises. It's the perfect way to spend your day and to start your evening. No sea-sickness…guaranteed!  While on The Southern Wave, you can lay suspended over the warm waters and sun yourself on one of our spacious trampolines, or feel free to relax on our covered and comfortable sundeck.  In the mornings we offer our guests the opportunity to cruise and snorkel in the clear waters of the Laguna Madre, northwest of South Padre Island. Your afternoons can be spent dolphin watching, picnicking on-board, or, even just relaxing and working on your tan while we use our on-board grill to cook up some Burgers and Hot Dogs. We also provide a variety of fresh, locally grown fruit and a wide range of snacks.  Spend an evening sailing aboard the Southern Wave.
