The Palms Resort

Last year we visited the Palms Resort in South Padre Island while on vacation as a couple. The location was perfect, right on the beach. The hotel’s restaurant cafe including our room and many others had a breathtaking ocean view, which together with the hotel’s decoration helped to create a very romantic environment. The beach’s powdery white sand is less than 50 feet from the back of the hotel, you can also rent chairs and umbrellas if you want to. The staff was friendly and professional, check in and out was quick and easy. Our room was spacious, clean and very quiet, it had a mini fridge, a sink, storage cabinets, cable TV and the bed was pure heaven. From what I pieced together, the hotel’s cafe is considered one of the island’s best restaurants, the food was deliciously amazing and people both locals and from other hotels would come to dine there. I had the time of my life staying here and I am planning on visiting again soon, if you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway then I recommend you this hotel.
