We visited this place a few days ago and loved it. It is definitely something to see. They have photographs of murders I never knew existed. I learned a lot of things, and the place was very clean and tidy. It was easy to navigate. I highly recommend this place. It has to be one of my favorites we have seen in New Orleans. Cheap and easy to find. Take a few hours and go in and read all there is to read. There is so much information behind those doors.
Just happened to walk by this place and I'm so glad I did. Great historical objects. Great information. Great place overall. They show a movie in the back that I couldn't sit through. Not for those with a weak stomach! A definite MUST see!
A MUST stop for anyone who loves off beat obscure macabre attractions! It took my girlfriend and I about an hour and a half to two hours while really taking our time to go through everything. Lots of really cool artifacts and crime scene photographs. This place covers everything!
Great stop for anyone with an interest in the macabre. Interesting collection of skeletons from all species, and different relics relating to all sorts of - of course - death. Exhibits on everything from serial killers to gruesome accidents to variants on the death penalty. A lot packed into a small area. You can't take photos inside and when we went (May 2016) there were renovations being done to the building which meant no access to toilets. You can get through in 1-2 hours easily.
