We stayed here because it was one of the only places in proximity to Hutchison other than the state fair campgrounds. It’s quiet, but the sites are close together with very few trees. The hook ups are confusing because your waterline is on the site next to you. The sites are all very hard, packed gravel. Good luck getting a stake for a screen room in there. The one high point is they have a very good marina store. Well stocked with good hours. The lake was down about 8 to 10 feet but that’s just nature. But it made it almost impossible to use the beach. The primary issue is that nobody picks up after themselves and there’s just trash and crap everywhere. It’s fine if you just need a place to hook up the RV and sleep and you aren’t going to be doing much recreation at the actual camp. And it’s not terribly expensive. Just wish they would fix a few things up. Surprisingly there is Wi-Fi. Don’t be fooled by it saying there is hiking. The so-called hiking trail is not even a half a mile long.

Unbelievably peaceful. Perfect tent spot. Kinda hidden. Would be perfect if you had an event as well that you didnt need hook ups for the night. Amazing swimming spot with the pup. Couldn’t be happier.

This place is way bigger it seems on the map. Nice large body of water. Hardly anybody here, it’s mid April. Zero staff present. Camping seems to be free when it’s off season.
We’ve seen three people in travel trailers out of many dozens of sites.
Great Kayaking spots if the winds allow. Signs of beaver activity and other wildlife.
Cell signal is ok, 2 or 3 bars without a booster. (AT&T)
We plan to come back next time we are passing through.

We stayed at M & M Point primitive site. We were the only one on the loop. Bathroom is centrally located on 2 M & M point campsite. Bathroom need cleaning. Wish campers will clean up after themselves, found some trash around fire pit and on the beach. Overall it was a good campsite with good bird varieties at the lake.

Drove here for dispersed camping and arrived at gate with entrance fee of $5 per day and was informed its $12 per night for boondocking spot. Which would have added up to $17 per day! Pretty park but wasn’t expecting the costs so didn’t stay.
