Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on September 20, 2020We arrived at 630, so park manager came to office when we called checked us in and escorted us to our site. NO check-ins after 7. All sites are pull thru with full hook ups and a small cement patio. Good spacing between sites and wide gravel roads, park laid out so you will have afternoon shade on your door side. Very neat and clean, fair number of long time stays, but not run down. Just off a main road so some noise. We didn't use restrooms or laundry. Good place to stay if you are visiting the Montgomery area.

A well run park where the owner keeps an eye on everything. An escort to your site is required, but that is not a bad thing. Everything was clean and well maintained. WiFi was strong and had good speed for surfing the net and checking mail. You could sneak in a video at times. Laundry was reasonable but only open when the office was due to the need to comply with the COVID regulation.

As others have said, this is a clean well run park, with a number of "medium-timers." But lots of road noise from US 231. From our spot we could hear live music on Friday night from the "Aw Shucks" oyster house next door, which we found quite enjoyable. Easy access to downtown Montgomery. While we were there 4/2/22 a tornado alert, and later a warning, was issued. We called Elmore County EMS and were advised that a public shelter was available at the Elmore Country courthouse in Wetumpka, only about 6 miles to the NE. We drove there, through a pounding rain, and sheltered with the locals for a half-hour or so until the threat passed. No damage at the RVP. Some fine forest walking/biking trails are located on Lake Jordan, NW of Wetumpka. Search for Swayback Bridge Trail.
