The Ouachita RV Park

We stayed here one night as we were traveling through. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The kids had fun on the playground.

This park suffered a very wet Feb so many of the spots were still wet. I was told at checkin to make sure my sewer hose and cables were off the ground as they were going to mow and weed eat. Seemed like an odd request as I could have waited a hour very easy as I was there way before normal checkin time. Anyway they mowed and weed ate and my hoses and side of my rv was plastered with grass. I was not very happy that they were more intrested in weed eating then my Rv not getting messed up or a rock damaging my rv. They also had several long term and old Junk trailers in spots. I would not recommend this park even for an over night.

What you would except from an RV park with full hookups, laundry, showers, had a playground that the kids enjoyed. The hospitality of the owners was well above average. Took the time to show us to our site and get to know our family. The current owners (former military) have recently purchased the place and are making some great improvements. We would gladly stay here again if we are ever in the area again! It is close to the highway and there is some traffic noise, but it also has the sounds of nature, crickets and bull frogs. Cell service was just fine for working and streaming.

One of the best RV Park Managers ever - friendly, organized, outgoing, and great customer service! Convenient checkin with personalized phone contact from Manager. Nice and well maintained grounds, clean restrooms, and great hot showers. Great location just off frontage road yet no road noice. 30 and 50 AMP service, and pull through. Highly recommend

Easy check in and friendly service. Level, decent sized pull through ( we have a 40 ft). Easy access. Cable included.

Nice for a stop over. The agent at the desk was nice. I hate the highway traffic and noise from the train however.

Very nice little park. Easy to find and access.

Lady in the office was kind over the phone and I found the “after hours” box really smart.

Laundry facilities are nice and affordable.

Close to town, with food eats.

Just arrived and set up. Sites are level but there is not much shade.
Looks like the lake overflows in heavy rain so sites on the West side have been recently repaired.
Easy on and off the interstate

Safe, quiet stop for the night. Easy to find - bright, friendly "This must be the place" neon sign to greet you as you pull in the park. Level site. Did not check out the bathrooms or clubhouse.
