“100-acres of cultivated gardens”
The Mobile Botanical Gardens, founded in 1974, is a garden which encompasses a 100-acre site of cultivated gardens, woodland trails, and a longleaf pine restoration. Dedicated to preserving native plants and to educating the community, the Mobile Botanical Gardens encompasses an extensive variety of cultivated areas and collections. A non-profit 501(c)3 organization, The Gardens holds fundraising events during the year to raise money for its ongoing operations and maintenance. These events feature thousands of unusual and native plants selected for their beauty and ability to flourish in the Gulf Coast.
