Pros:
1. Level gravel full hook up site with a ton of room
2. High speed internet (Chelsea streamed movies on her Macbook)
3. Great laundry facility ($1.50 wash & dry)
4. For an urban campground it has beautiful trees and a nature trail!
5. Walkable to gas station and Dollar General
6. Very close to downtown Mobile
7. Nicest management, so accommodating, so efficient
8. Personal large trash can at the back of each site
Cons:
1. Some road noise from nearby I-10 and air noise from nearby small airport
2. Mens shower area is 2 stall showers with no personal changing area outside of small stall. Women's shower is a single stall shower in private room/full bathroom.

Our rate included a Good Sam discount. This campground is mostly long term residents, perhaps a mix of permanent and seasonal - I’m not sure for we hardly saw or heard them. It is neat, well maintained and quiet as well. There are 10 - 12 transient sites in the middle of the campground. We were there the first part of the week. One night the transient sites were almost full and the other nights only 1 or 2 others. The bathroom is nothing to write home about, but it was clean. It is located in a double wide with a laundry room and a tv lounge. The sites have no privacy, but are nice gravel pull thrus with a garbage bin, water, electric, sewer and cable. WiFi was great during the day, but slow in the evening. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. A very short “nature hike” leads to the river. Besides being a quiet place to spend the night, this campground is well situated to see Mobile - half way between Mobile and the USS Alabama battleship (not to be missed! plan on spending the day.) We also enjoyed the WildNative Eco boat tour at Spanish Fort. This is not a destination campground, but I give it four stars because it works so well for a city camping spot.

It's not a 'destination' park, but it's a perfectly fine place to park and relax while you visit whatever it is in Mobile that you wish to visit.
There are several wide pull through, well graveled, level sites for short term stays that provide full hook-ups and good water pressure. There is a garbage can a nearly all of the short term spots, so you don't need to exercise to dump your trash.
The RV park is decently quiet - you can hear the hum of the highway and the rumble of a distant train, but the residents and neighborhood (residential) are quiet.
There is a small nature trail and a quiet neighborhood to walk around if you wish. Laundry is $1.50/wash/dry. There are showers and toilets, a book exchange and a lounge with a TV and chairs from the 1970's.
It's a swell place - and less than 10 minutes from downtown Mobile.

This is a no-frills campground that has about 85% full-timers living there. With that being said it was clean and well kept when we were there. The staff was all very friendly. When we got there on Sunday there was no one in the office so we had to call. They answered right away and gave us our lot # which we found to be tight for our 42' fifth wheel. I called back and they let us change to a different lot with no problem.
There are only 1 male bathroom and 1 female bathroom in the bathhouse so if you need the campgrounds bath facilities, keep that in mind. There are 3 washers and 4 dryers, each cost $1.50 per load and they worked great.
This campground is close to an airport and you can hear the train at all hours as well. We didn't think it was horrible but if you are sensitive to those kinds of noises you will be hearing them.
The location was convenient for us as we were exploring the area and were not looking for a campground with a lot of amenities.
Gravel, fairly level site.

Pull through site was easy to get in, garbage cans at every site with weekly pickup was nice. Did have a small incident with a resident at the park, management immediately responded, took my concern very seriously, and took care of the situation.
Thank you for being dedicated to making guests feel safe and comfortable.

Older park that needs work to maintain facilities. Booked on line. Check in was easy. Arrived late, my reservation was taped to the office door. All hook ups worked as expected. Laundry and Showers were clean. Some airport noise. Other than that it was a peaceful stay.

We stayed here one night on our way from Florida out west. I was concerned with coming in late but I called and was given the information and told that "we'll just take care of it in the morning". The caretaker was no nice and even gave us a veteran's discount! The grounds were beautiful and we loved the nature trail walk down to the water to watch the sunset.
Very nice people and a great location right near the port and downtown Mobile, but the bathrooms could really use an update.
Excellent location and clean!
