What a great tour. Super informative and interesting and ends with a bourbon tasting. As a bourbon drinker, I thought I knew quite a bit but learned so much from our helpful tour guide Brian. The tasting was obviously the best capped with 3 of the brand's finest. I would highly recommend to any visitors regardless if you're big on bourbon - embodies the history of Louisville
Cool to learn about evan williams becoming the first commercial distiller in the united states...highly recommend!
Seeing as this is the only "bourbon tour" in Louisville proper, it's worth the stop. You get taken through a little museum that talks about the history of Evan Williams and how bourbon is made- and then you get to sample some bourbon! The samples were pretty small, but it's straight bourbon
Did the Speakeasy tour, and had a great time! Jake was an awesome tender. His stories were interesting and informative! And the tastings were well worth it! Highly recommended.
Different from other tours on the trail in that it was more like being lead through a museum exhibit rather than through a distillery. However, it was very informative, particularly around getting a glimpse of the early days of bourbon and what young Louisville was like. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and a great host. If you're doing the trail, I'd say this is a worthwhile stop.
