We only stayed overnight so didn't get to experience much. The park was very convenient to I-12, but far enough that it was quiet. Our pull-through was long enough and level enough that we didn't need to unhook our car for the night, which was nice. Sites were typical width for a commercial RV park, i.e. pretty close together. There was a nice sidewalk around much of the lake, which made for a great place to walk our dog. Since the park is pretty small, we likely would have looked outside the RV park for dog walks if we were staying for more than the one night. AT&T and Verizon worked very well. We found it very convenient for an overnight stop, and would consider staying here again, though it was a bit expensive for an overnighter ($42 with Good Sam discount, plus tax).

After staying in northern LA for a month, we wanted to stay closer to Baton Rouge and New Orleans for a week. The park is very nice, but the stops are tight. Everything was paved and flat - some of the spots puddled up with rain near the sewer connections in the grass, which became a hassle.
Nice lake walk and cool activity room - we played the claw machine, air hockey and ping pong.
We only planned to stay for a week, but the ice storm and freezing temperatures shut down surrounding highways. So we kept having to extend our stay by three days because there was no way to leave and go anywhere.
The internet was okay, you get a free coupon code from the front office when you check in that is good for the length of your stay. Since we had to keep extending ours, we had to keep getting a new coupon code for the wifi every day.
Close to the highway and easy to get in and out.

Nice campground on pretty lake. Spots are close on the inside loop which is reserved for monthly stays. Spots along front road seem a bit roomier. These are for shorter stays. Ask for lakeside spot. Our was perfect! Had a nice shade tree we could sit under and tie the dogs to and relax. There were two swans and multiple geese. Paved path around lake for walk. Short term spots fill up on the weekend. Lots of people Thursday through Sunday. Mid week quiet. Nice pool, laundry, showers, and meeting areas. Park security always present and they are serious about the 5 mph speed limit and other rules.

This was a nice and quiet park.
We were escorted to our site.
There weren't any trees to hassle with. We have a fifth wheel, so we come in at over 13 feet.
We would stay here again.

Beautiful grounds w/lake. Easy after hours checkin. Took spot on lake which was normally $42 but used Good Sam discount for $37 rate. About $5 cheaper off lake. But all have lake views. Swans and geese swim happily and make good foto ops. Flat and wide cement pads, picnic tables on each site, spotless and landscapes beautifully. Good cell service. Pool open 9-9, playground was being upgraded/repaired. Pets OK/families. Inside campers lounge w/TV and sofas, separate activities room with tables for card games, patio with rockers facing lake. Very peaceful. We were pressed for time heading home on I-12 and Lakeside only about 1.5 miles off highway. Paid in morning when we left, exceptional staff. Spent more $ than we normally do in a campground, but worth the treat.

Stayed one night. Friendly and efficient check in. Escorted to site. Pleasant setting. The swans were beautiful and the park is well kept. Will be adding as one of our layover spots.

We wouldn't consider this spot a destination, since there is very little in the immediate vicinity and the park has typical tightly packed pads, but it is a very clean, modern, and well-run private park conveniently located off of I-12. The park is easy to find and check-in was smooth. Our site was a level concrete pad with a modern utility post, which even had a built in light (handy for those arriving after dark). Sites are spaced fairly close, but not unusually so for a commercial park. Our utilities worked fine, and we found the bath house to be spotless and pleasant to use. The laundry facilities also looked clean and well-maintained. There are several gas stations at the I-12 interchange that can accommodate larger rigs.
We did not use the park's wifi since our signal on AT&T was more than enough for streaming.

This park is in very nice setting by the lake. Sites are pretty spacious and well kept. The sites they have for short stay are however few feet from very busy road. I couldn’t sleep the whole week of our stay. That’s why I will not stay here again. We stayed at park close by major interstate highways and never had such a problem to sleep like in this park.
