Time Away RV Resort

TIME AWAY RV RESORT 160 Summer Dale Ln Lincoln Alabama. New (opened in June 2021) campground with full hook up pull thru sites. The campground is down the road from Talladega race track. Birmingham is a short drive. Leeds also a short drive has a Bucees. The sites were crush and run and were level. This area of Alabama is red clay so shoes off in the camper. The park was clean and well kept. Shower/bathroom available. Pool was not completed during our stay. Park offers a walking trail, playground,basketball court,and a pavilion. It is Dog friendly. We were at site 9 and wifi was strong. We were able to stream roku on our smart TV. This campground offers Buddy sites. Local ice-cream truck drove thru the park. Camping items available in office. They partnered with a RV repair company that will have an office on site. I'm sure we will be back to visit again. Owners are very nice. Nightly rate for 2 people they Charge extra for adfitional family members

Great for Overnight stay because it's close to I20. Large gravel sites with full hook up and 30/50-amp electric service. Still adding amenities to the park and currently have a kid's playground, volleyball, basketball, walking trail and the pool is almost finished. Would make for a great weekend and vacation stay also.

We spent a few days here. The park is relatively new and still a work-in-progress. They use contactless check-in, which is fine, so we never met or saw any staff, it was off-season, so that's fine. Most of the park was empty during our stay, but I imagine during races this place is packed. The service was great, very responsive. The wifi was good, we had a bit of an issue getting on at first, and one day it didn't want to work, but when it did work it was good. The sites are FHU and worked great. All sites are pull-through and pretty long. Easy to navigate around. Gravel sites and most of them are fairly level, but not all. It rained pretty heavily one night while there, our site was somewhat damp but not flooded, only one site, site 50 was flooded. This was a nice park to stay in for a few days and just kick back. Must be self-contained, they keep the bathrooms locked except during events. Not sure if the laundry was open yet or not?

We have a 45 foot motor home and we were impressed with how easy it was to navigate through the park. Level sites, close to shopping. Great staff. Still under construction and will be nice when completed. Across from Race Track.

Campsites are pretty level, bath houses are clean. Lots of long term. Junk laying around some long term residents campers or would have given higher rating.
