ghost town in Kansas, United States
Their was only one review on this sight the time we went to see this place. The review is correct there is no town there. Just fields. BUT, if you take your time driving to the coordinates you will see some history of the town. Old homes, barns, stone walls, etc. Also there is an incredible cemetery which no doubt holds the remains of the townspeople. Many of them born in the 1800s and passing around the time this town supposedly fell. So yeah, no town, but a beautiful drive and if you take it slowly and look closely you will see the history.
I drove from Topeka to Wichita and made this one of my stops. It was a 30 minute drive all through dirt roads and huge fields, there was no town at the address given, it was just huge fields on both sides of the car. Quite upsetting that there was nothing there :(
