Description
September 21st, 2021: RVer reports that Overnight RV Parking is allowed, confirming report from Sept 2017. Supervisor at Fossil Safari quarry stated permission is not required. Private road (unpaved?) to fossil quarry business has several turnouts; supervisor stated than an RVer may park overnight in any of them, provided they're completely off the road & don't obstruct any traffic. Level, unlighted, quiet, appears safe. No amenities of any kind; RVer says 'beautiful views in every direction.' Note that there are no telephones and no electricity in this area, including at the Fossil Safari location. Weak cell signal reported here, enough for voice, text or email but nothing needing greater bandwidth.
