Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on April 17, 2022Pulling into this RV park, we were greeted by a very friendly business owner. He directed us to our lot site and each lot is very mindfully spaced apart. Locked bathrooms, pull through sites, laundry, a lot of fun for the kids too! Clean and quiet, level sifted c
The highway noise was a factor to the score, but all in all it was a very pleasant experience. Best of luck in the future!

Stated rate reflects monthly back-in site ($450) plus $100 Electric deposit.
My overall rating is 4 stars instead of 5 solely due to the highway noise, but this is inevitable when an RV park is located literally next to the interstate. Initially it bothered us, but within a week we barely noticed. There is also intermittent helicopter noise from the nearby Army Airfield. The Chinooks literally shook our rig! I'm an aviation geek, so I enjoyed this aspect.
We are currently staying at Smoky Hill while we wait for New Horizons (on the other side of Junction City) to receive our new Morryde Independent Suspension.
We have seen some extremely large rigs stay while we have been here including a 48' Luxe pulled by a HDT. They had no trouble getting in or out.
This is Kansas, so the weather can be wild depending on the time of year you visit. The wind broke one of our slide-topper awnings, but this is not the park's fault, and thus I did not count this against them.
The owners are some of the most friendly owners we have every encountered in our time on the road. They keep the place up nicely while always being available for a friendly conversation.
The fenced in dog run is kept very clean.
If you happen to be spending some time in Junction City, make sure to check out the Korean food!

This is a nicely maintained RV park that is extremely convenient to I-70. That is both it’s greatest asset and worst liability. It appeared to me that many of the sites were occupied by long-term renters. On my leisurely, 15-day trip across the country, it was, unfortunately the only RV park where I had to use ear plugs to sleep at night. The park is literally on I-70 so, road noise is a problem. I was in Row B which is the second closest row to the Interstate. If you decide to stay at this park, I strongly recommend that you request a site as far from I-70 as possible. Rows C and above are a little higher in elevation which may help.

Nice newer campground located right off of I70. We stayed here 1 night on our way from Illinois to Colorado. Not a ton of amenities but great for a 1 night stop. Very easy to access. Nice gravel roads throughout park and we had a very long pull through site that fit our 40’ diesel pusher with toad. It is a little noisy as it’s right next to interstate but other than that no complaints.

Very clean place to be. They have a number on the door to call if you have any questions. Very friendly. There is some noise by the highway but it wasn’t too bad! We stayed at E7

The grounds were well lit and maintained and clean, as were the restrooms and showers. There was a nice play area near the restrooms. Also a fenced in dog park that was clean. We stayed at site E7. There was some road noise but not so loud that my ear plugs didn’t block. Cell service (Verizon) was great- not sure how many bars. We would definitely stay here again.

I cannot answer for multiple days stay but for a pop in/out overnight it was wonderful. Road noise is a little loud but all resorts are that are this close to the highway. Very level easy in gravel with concrete pad plus picnic table.
It has a nice little light on top of the power hook up if you need it on to see. This Roadtrippers GPS doesn’t have to coordinates correct so use Google but nonetheless it’s easily findable.
