I live in town, so just used the dump site. State Fair is held in late September, there may be a few other events where the park would be full, check website calendar. Only the main entrance at 20th and Popular is open year round. Take a left inside the entrance and go all the way to the back, north, there are a few signs to the rv park. There is a dump site right before the rv park, but is only suitable for small rv's, but the fair did say it is ok to use an empty site in the rv park to dump and fill tanks for free. There are a lot of pull through sites in the park. Hardly any shade. Toilets at entrance to rv park. It is in the middle of town, probably in walking distance of the north main business district and restaurants. Also would have great cell service since its in town. The Cosmosphere Space Center and Strataca Salt mine are must sees in town. Should be rv friendly since they are constant field trip destinations.
Pulled in on Saturday morning of Memorial weekend and plenty of sites available (no events). Campground is all the way in the back of the fairgrounds. Mostly level grass sites with 30/50 amp, water and sewer. Most sites back up to each other except on perimeter rows. Bathrooms on-site but no showers. Payment is by check or cash dropped in an envelope. Quiet; train horn could be heard in the distance but not too bothersome.
Close to the Hutchinson Salt Mine and Cosmosphere space museum. Grounds big enough to walk/bike ride if no events going on.

Very easy to get into. Tons of spots to choose from.
The spots are very close together but there were only 3 other people in the whole rv park. $30 a night. They have bathrooms and showers including a private handicap bathroom. The bathroom building was not well kept but I’ve definitely seen worse. Most of the toilets were covered in feces and it was pretty grimy but the hot water worked well and it was stocked with toilet paper and hand soap. The grounds were otherwise very well maintained. We came through only because our trailer axel busted while traveling and overall this was a really great spot to park while we fixed it. Very quiet despite being in the middle of town and it felt pretty safe.
