Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on March 20, 2023We stayed here on May 23, 2018 in s 32ft Class C.
Easy access to/from I-20. Was greeted by owner and his wife. JD walked us down to our site and helped with hookups. Very friendly. Gravel pad was nearly level. Full hookups within 5ft of site -- be careful with large slides as the electric pole is tall. Easy access to from/site. Nice showers and bathrooms open 24/7, but can be a little bit of a hike from some sites. Mixed RV and tent camping. Only bad thing was nosy neighbors who were always checking to see if we picked up the dog's poop. (We always did -- couldn't tell if they were disappointed or pleased as they never said a word.) Park was only half-full so drop-ins would probably be welcome. Would stay again as an overnight on the way to somewhere else.
We love this campsite but I just read a review from Aug 2013 that the campsite was for sale. Not sure if true or not. I hope its not, or if it is the new owners keep it as it has been.
We stayed for a week in site 24 during October 2018. There were 6 pull-throughs at our location that were very close together leaving only a few of grassy space between them. There was, however, plenty of grassy area across the street giving a park-like feeling to the place. There was only one shower room each for men and women Also our site had no cable hook-up. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and fast enough for streaming movies.
All in all this is a pretty nice RV park

We stayed here one night on a cross country road trip. We called ahead to confirm they were open (May 2020) and had availability. Owners were extremely friendly and accommodating, they let us park our pop-up in any of the available spots. We chose right by the creek. The kids loved the creek, it has a great swimming hole and gravel beach area. The only critic we had is that the grassy area was covered with a sand burr type thorn that made going shoeless impossible and induced lots of crying for the little guys. We were sometimes able to access the wifi but it was not strong enough by the creek to stream Netflix. All the other campers were friendly, quiet, and courteous. The bridge from the closest exit is out, so call ahead to get the detour (when they say its right at the bridge, they aren't kidding)

I spent 3mo here, Aug-Nov, and had a great experience. Clean park and nice owner. The bridge on the other side of the park entrance was being rebuilt so construction during business hours was sometimes a pain and noisy but that should be done soon. I liked being tucked in the woods and all the great walking in the area. Would stay here again.

We are not sure who may have rated this a 4 Star Campendium site but it is not consistent with our cross country experiences using this app. It is a great place to stay if you never leave your RV or use the showers/restrooms. Yes, it is quiet, clean grounds and nice staff. The restroom is abysmal and that includes the shower. Nasty and not cleaned in a while. The toilet did flush, there was hot water and toilet paper, but the space had not been cleaned daily or even weekly if not longer. A little TLC would go a long way in the facilities area. Also our electrical service panel was missing the safety plate presenting an electrical shock hazard. Details matter.

Approaching the worst RV park experience to date? Setting-up in the rain and tearing-down in the rain is nothing against the park, it just caused the experience to be even worse.
The site layout was atrocious since being one pedestal area for two adjacent parking spots. That forced me to face southeast while my adjacent neighbors were facing northwest. The pedestals were also more towards the southeast causing me to be almost in the drive and starting to slope down in the front. I backed-up some to get a bit more level. The rig's position stretched-out the 25-foot 50A power cable and the 25-foot water hose. After getting my slide out, there may have been 3-4 feet separating the neighbor to the north from us. Could not stay out some mud seeping up alongside the graveled site especially in the morning when disconnecting or trying to dump tanks.
To top it all off was the "safety-hazard" of the pedestal with the circuit breakers' protective panel missing. I always use a 50A tester, and was glad to use it on this one for sure before getting power to the rig from this so-called "power source". I was extra careful turning the breaker on or off especially with it raining! This was just a plain "no"!
There was a piece of brick covering the dump location - since the cover was missing, the small piece of brick also served as its cover!
In the morning with all of the overnight rain, the area looked like a small lake.
The men's bathroom could use some recurring cleaning. Trash in a bin looked old and was quite overflowing.
There was no coverage experienced with AT&T.
Nope, will not stay here again. My wife and I would have been much better off staying in one of the Loves RV spots there at the I-20 exit.

Showed up at 5:10 on a Saturday without reservation. Several sites available. Some long term residents present. All amenities functioned (50/FHU). It was very quiet with the primary noise being a rooster crowing.
Not a destination, but nice for overnight.
