Halstead Swing Bridge

This bridge spans the Little Arkansas River in Riverside park. It was in the movie Picnic. It is very well kept and has been redone in the local school colors. The park is a great place to stop and have a picnic. There are picnic tables and lots of huge old trees for shade. When you walk across the bridge it has just enough bounce and swing to bring back memories of the older bridges that many once played on.
