Site #1 is long enough to accommodate our 28’ Airstream and the truck. So, yea! But backing in was a challenge. The sites are around a loop with one way traffic. And some sites are angled for backing in a trailer when going correctly around the loop, but not site #1. We had to proceed around the loop until we could turn around and then go against the flow back to site 1 to get backed in. Fortunately there was no opposing traffic to speak of. Concerning level, we had to go up 3” on one side (no big deal) and easily leveled front to back. When we leave we’ll have to go against the traffic arrow a short distance, but really, after the loop the “main” road is no wider, so meeting anyone with a wide rig will be challenging.
Having said all this, I would camp here again in a heartbeat. Great location, quiet and beautiful.

It is one of the closest campgrounds to Mount Hood. The sites are huge, but the parking areas are not. Only a few would accomodate big rigs (30 to 35 feet). Note that we camped there in our Westfalia (NOT our bus). There is no electricity and the tree cover is so dense (and beautiful) that you cannot really use solar here...
One down side is that you can hear the noise from the road.

We stopped here one night to break up our drive to Bend, OR. First off this is an absolutely beautiful dry camping great for tents! However RVers beware. We pulled out 30’ travel trailer in and stayed at site 16. We got great at this site. There was only 1 other RV (small class C). There were maybe two total site we could have fit. Also the road right off the highway is a 1 lane road (can’t imagine meeting another camper!). The road inside the campground (1 way loop) is even narrower, and has some nasty big potholes.
While it was so beautiful and the sites are large, I’m not sure we will return with our trailer.

Nice wooded campground. A small creek ran through the sites. Sites are far enough apart so was very quiet.

Really beautiful campground. Sites are spread out for the most part. Great trees allow for sun but keep shade on the area most of the day, so if you're reliant on solar, you may be short on power.
Access is somewhat tight. Narrow one lane/one way loop with a fair amount of potholes. Stayed at site 24 with my 27' TT. Relatively easy back in, but narrow-ish, and had to park truck sideways to fit.
The site itself is awesome. The creek is about 25 yards away, and it's sound is soothing.
Highly recommend this location, with great access to Mt Hood and Government Camp.
