I was looking for an alternative to the rest stop locations in Kansas (they are really small/crowded and right on the highway) and found this gem on Campendium! Having read a few reviews around staying at Walmart locations, I decided to give them a call to confirm that an overnight stay was allowed. I spoke with the manager, Val, who was incredibly polite and said that as long as you park in either the far north or far south of the parking lot, you are more than welcome to stay here! When I pulled in there were 2 rigs on the south side, so I pulled in on the north side by these large recyclable plastic things (the side closest to the O'Reilly Auto Parts). By the time the sun had set, there were also about 2 more RVs and a few more tractor trailers that had pulled in also. I had GREAT service on my iPhone/Verizon with 4 bars of LTE (no 5G) and was even able to load up on supplies before heading to Colorado. The best part is that I actually got to meet Val as well! When I was checking out I asked to speak to a manager just to confirm where I should park and that it was okay to do so and that was when Val came walking up! I told here where I had parked and she actually said I could park closer, but I wanted to make sure I was not in the way (see photos) and that I could put my slide out (to get into my bedroom) so that it was not in the way/a hazard. It was incredibly quiet here for a Saturday night and I really can't recommend this location highly enough for an overnighter! Oh, and when I spoke to Val, her exact words were: "If anyone gives you any trouble, tell them to come talk to Val." Love it!
Cheers,
Travis

Called to confirm the stay. Said to park in north or south of lot. Many other 18 wheelers parked in the middle but we stuck to the edges of the south side near Oreilly. Very bright in the lot and wide open. It was super windy, we should have put the stabilizers down but were too tired. Would stay again.
When our Harvest Host canceled our stay due to bad weather we happened across some reviews on Campendium about this Walmart. It was perfect, just off the highway and Walmart was open until 11pm so we could buy some dinner and then re opened at 6 am for breakfast. We felt safe as other RVers where in the parking lot and a couple of trucks. It was very quiet and we had a peaceful night .
