“serving you "Mike Anderson" style”
Mike Anderson was a newcomer, a “rookie” to the restaurant business. But as both a legendary college football great and a retired athlete, he knew that success came with hard work and determination. Formerly an All-American Linebacker at Louisiana State University, Mike was, “literally,” not afraid to tackle anything… including his first restaurant. Mike Anderson’s Seafood Restaurant originally began as Mike Anderson’s College Town Seafood & Oyster Bar in November 1975. Mike’s first menu only offered a small selection including po-boys and oysters on the half shell. With the restaruant’s immediate success, both gumbo and boiled seafood were soon added to the menu. Then as they say, “from that point on… the rest was history.” At Mike Anderson’s – Gonzales, we pride ourselves in giving you an AWESOME dining experience. In order to serve you “Mike Anderson Style,” with the consistently delicious dishes and excellent service, our entire TEAM must work both “whole-heartedly” and diligently. Mike Anderson’s is blessed with an AWESOME TEAM whose hard work and determination has been a big part of our continued success. Our devoted TEAM has allowed all of us to grow with the continued expansion of Ascension Parish and the Greater Baton Rouge Area.
