Bonnie & Clyde Ambush/Death Site Memorial

Totally lame. In a diner, and very few REAL artifacts. The car isn't even the right color. Not worth the stop unless you need something to eat.

The previous reviewer is referring to the Bonnie and Clyde Ambush Museum in Gibsland, very near the ambush site. The museum is located in the the same building that was once Ma Canfield's Diner, where Bonnie and Clyde bought their last lunch. It was a take out order of several sandwiches. They never got to finish them because minutes later they drove into the death trap.

The memorial was interesting, just wish people wouldn’t destroy it. While we were there no one drove by. It seemed so quiet like the day it happened before they drove down the road.

Pretty cool to visit. It’s a shame that people graffiti the markers there though.

One piece of advice, pay attention to how you got there if you aren’t using an offline gps as there is no cell service for about a 1 mile radius of this site.

I wouldn’t make it the highlight of my trip but it was an exciting little, off the beaten path, excursion.

Go to the courthouse in Arcadia. There are multiple newspaper articles and pictures of the event. The corpses were taken to Arcadia to a Funeral Home there and put on display for the public to see.

Lol havent been but anybody that really knows this story this history knows how the law helped shape clyde future amd knows clyde never killed are shot unless was in return was set up by his partner dad and gunned down by four texas cowards they never had a chance and by law all four would be charged for murder frank hammer aka coward

This is a memorial an the side of the road next to a memorial for those who took them down. The past review must be talking about some other place because there's anything else here.
