It is a work in progress. But all the sites are level, pull thru with both 30 and 50 amp service. It is centrally located for all the attractions in the area particularly Fort Davis National Historic Site and McDonald Observatory. They have plans to add bathrooms and a laundry facility. The connections are all new and water pressure is excellent. Cell service is good - TMobile 3 bars 10 down/6 up, Verizon 4 bars 10 down/19 up. Verizon tower is within site of the RV park. They do have wifi available but we did not use it. At only $20 a night for full hookups while they are new you can't beat it. Buster and Pam are great owners. They have been very accommodating.

This is a new RV Park in Ft. Davis with full hookup 30/50 amp at every spot including water, sewer and very level spaces. The owners are extremely accommodating and friendly. Pam even answered the phone at 10:15PM when we were expecting to leave a voicemail.
Our three kids ages 7,6 & 4 love the area they could explore and might have climbed up a mountain a little too high for our comfort. However they made great memories.
This place will eventually have more amenities as they get more business. Please stay here and help this new business grow and build something great for Ft. Davis. Also!...They have WiFi that works really well throughout the park.
The state park is very close and this spot makes a great alternative when it is full.

We couldn't get into the state park so opted for here. Only 3 miles from the park. FHU at all sites. The place is brand new and will add a shower house eventually. Very quiet place during our stay, not many campers around.

Nestled neatly about a mile or so outside of Ft Davis on TX-17, Davis Mt RV Park was easy to find, easy to access and wide open. No frills meaning, no bathhouse or laundry. Laundry is easily available about a mile away. We stayed for a week and accessed Ft Davis, Marfa, Alpine and would have hit McDonald observatory if not for the Covid. When we pulled in the WiFi wasn’t stellar, we mentioned it and it was ‘fixed’ ASAP. Park closer to the entrance and you can stream video until your heart is content. Great stargazing as well
We would stay here again

Had a great stay at Davis Mountain RV Park. Owners Pam and Buster are great!
Brand new electrical service. I let my grey and black tanks fill up over the week. Had no trouble dumping both sequentially.
Great tasting well water.
The owners own the ranch behind the park and had no problems with us walking our two big dogs (120# lab, 90# pyrenees) on the ranch.
Great rate at $20 per night with full hook ups. Great wifi. Verizon tower less than a mile away.
Grocery store and liquor store less than 2 miles away.

We were greeted by owners Pam and Buster with a packet of area information, park maps, local business and eatery recommendations, road maps and a postcard. Awesome folks. The site was wide, level and quiet. A great base to visit Fort Davis, the State Park and the Desert Gardens. Several nearby campgrounds did not look as inviting or spacious as Davis Mountain. We sat tight and watched as our first dust storm blew through one day and afterward watched two Barbary sheep and their kid traverse the mountain ledge behind our site. It was a shame to see at least three fellow travelers didn't have the courtesy for their hosts to pick up after their dogs and one who left a pile of shattered glass we almost walked our dog through, remnants of a tossed wine bottle. We will be back through the area again and look forward to another stay.

26 long pull thrus. Just north of town. Convenient to area attractions. Water, electric, wifi, dump are all good. You must be self contained for showers and toilet. No designated dog walk and the gavel gets hot. Road in front with cliffs behind. There are 3 or 4 places to eat in town. Grocery and hardware stores in town. No onsight office so pick a spot and check in via phone and text. We were here at Memorial Day and there were just a few rigs.

Quiet park on the edge of Fort Davis. Owners provided a welcome package with a ton of info on what to do in the area. Close to Marfa, Alpine and Marfa. Loved my stay in the area.

Easy and open location with a beautiful view of the rocks. The camp is slightly past town (about a 30-minute walk into downtown and a 5-minute drive to the State Park) but was worth the short drive. The owners were amazingly welcoming and check-in was a breeze! We work full time and were able to check out later in order to accommodate our schedule. Service was A+.
