This place was great. When we arrived, someone led us to our site and was there to help us back in if we needed. The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating. The sites are level gravel driveways with a nice little grass area with a picnic table and fire pit. There's pickle ball, basketball, horseshoes, volleyball, shuffleboard, gym, laundry room, a pool, and dog run. They also have a great little store and rentals for the small-ish lake. It's also close to everything you need. Service was good enough to work and their wifi was pretty decent, although we were fairly close to the main office. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

We stayed 3 nights the latter part of December and really enjoyed it. The hosts were great and friendly. Lots of folks there for 3+ months. There were a few families with kids. The kids had a lot of things to do at the RV park. Park has good amenities - cable TV, wifi (actually worked), daily garbage pickup, and full hookups, of course. Sold propane on the property. They offer a GoodSam 10% discount.
There is some highway noise from the Beach Express, but it's not horrible.
We will definitely be back!

We needed to fill in a few nights between state parks and picked Ahoy RV Resort for the dog run. Reserved online and paid a deposit. I called ahead of check-in time as we were going to be early - Brendon was very nice and said to come on it. We were able to get the Good Sam discount and were directed to our site. Sites are RV park style where you are close to your neighbors, but nice neighbors! This park is about 5 years old, so the trees are small and the back area hasn't been built yet. The rec room, bathrooms & pool are gorgeous! The owners are very friendly along with all of the staff. We were able to fill propane & the staff member even came to pick up & drop off our cans. There were two parties over the three nights we were there and a Mardi Gras dog parade! I joined in on the Super Bowl party - so much food, lots of nice people. If you want to meet nice people and get some socializing in - this place is great! We had rain or I would have loved to use more of their facilities. Some noise & a lot of sirens from the main road to the east, but no big deal.
