William Allen White House

As a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, editor of The Emporia Gazette and and political adviser, William Allen White hosted well-known political and literary figures of the day, including Theodore Roosevelt, among the five U.S. presidents to visit Red Rocks. William Allen's son, William Lindsay White, was a well-known radio broadcaster in the 1940s and later an editor of the Gazette. Through world travels they connected with famous people like H. G.
