Description
June 7th, 2020: RVer report confirms 20 earlier reports from Dec 2009 thru Oct 2019, & info provided to OvernightRVParking.com by City. Overnight RV Parking is allowed but is no longer free. City Park has 5 level asphalt back-in sites on lakeshore, with 20/30/50A E/W hookups. W hookups are below 3 metal plates in ground, well behind rigs; turned off (& possibly removed to below ground level) in winter. Dump station, but there's a dip in the road where longer rigs scrape pavement; road slopes sideways away from dump station, so complete emptying of tanks is difficult or impossible. Vault Toilet. Dumpsters. Mar 2017 RVer reports good 4G Cell Service. Sites are level, lighted, quiet & area appears safe. This 75 acre park surrounding a 250 acre lake has other parking areas suitable for dry camping as well. Appears to be busy or full on summer weekends, less so on weeknights. Open all year. No reservations, first come, first served. Register & pay on site. Max stay: no limit. 2020 rate: $15/night. Contact Info: City Hall: (580) 225-3230
