The center traces the story of Corinth in the Civil War from secession through Reconstruction. It includes two state-of-the-art films on Shiloh and Corinth, plus interactive interpretive exhibits and stunning bronze work. Located near the site of Battery Robinett, the Corinth Battlefield visitor center, the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center, is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm every day except December 25. Center exhibits include interactive displays and multimedia presentations on the Battle of Shiloh and the Siege and Battle of Corinth. The culminating interpretive feature is a commemorative courtyard where stone and flowing water chronicle the birth and growth of the United States, the accompanying rise of sectionalism, key events leading to the Civil War, and a symbolic representation of four years of war.

This place has the most impressive fountain in the back. It is a phenomenal representation of a United States timeline depicting the original 13 colonies at the headwaters, the showing the addition of each state coming in to the stream from the sides. The civil war is shown as dark blocks causing a rift in the laminar flow of the water. Then after returning to a smooth stream. This is a must see site. Simply on of the best I've seen, and I've been to a lot of National Parks and sites. Very near here is the actual crossing of the two tracks in Cornith. Worth taking the time to view this site also.

The battle is spread out the town. But the exhibit explains the battle well.

Smallish National Park Service center with a 20-minute video plus large panel photos and maps explaining the events surrounding the 2-day battle. Unique in its description of “contraband camps”; apparently the large village created at Corinth was a model of what could be achieved. Interesting place in the war, both in strategic importance as a railroad crossroads for the CSA and also in its connection to Shiloh and Vicksburg. The pathway leading to the center is special; it has bronzed artifacts such as soldier’s caps, rifle barrels, a bayonet, a sword, postal bags, affixed to the sidewalk. The back is an earthworks and nearby is the Corinth National Cemetery with some Civil War dead.
