“Small yet spacious”
Crown Point RV Park is small, quiet and maintained well. For $15/night, full-hook, great wifi and convenient location to the Columbia Gorge & Hood River areas as well as Portland. Crown Point is located at the beginning of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. It is surrounded by some of Oregon's most beautiful waterfall areas and scenic views. Crown Point is enhanced by the country air, blue skies, bright stars, and cool summer evenings.

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 23, 2019I paid $12.50 /night for a 20 amp site. Campground required a 2 night stay for the PPA rate. I needed an overnight near Portland, OR which is about 25 min away. Good spot for hiking the Columbia Gorge waterfalls, etc. Small park. Grassy, shady site. Friendly camp host. I was glad I called ahead as there was a sign up "No Vacancy" as I drove in.
There is a warning on their website to take exit 18 (from I-84) instead of 22 if you want to avoid a 10% 1.5 mile grade up to the park. I was glad to avoid it as it is a windy road up. OK for a car but I didn't want to chug up that grade. Exit 22 takes you along a two lane scenic route towards the park. The entrance is easy to miss so slow down so you don't miss it.
There is a laundry which I didn't use. Looked OK. Did not use the shower or bathroom either. There are a fair amount of people who are living there while working.

We mainly came to see Multnomah Falls and the other falls in the area.
This spot was the perfect base camp for that and we were able to get the PPA right for all 3 nights. 50A power for $17.50 a night didn't seem bad to me.
Lots of residents, which doesn't leave a lot of sites available for those passing through so definitely call ahead.
Slow down as approaching the entrance otherwise is very easy to miss.
Was relatively clean, though it was raining a lot when we were there, and the space we were in didn't seem to drain well so there were some muddy areas. Not a huge deal, just ahd to watch your step.

It is small but that is part of what makes it so nice. We requested a simple dryside but we received a water hose and the ability to use the free shower and the community room which had microwave and even bags of popcorn.

Slllooow internet. Clean and convenient location but not up to the standards I expect at $35 per night. No attractions and the Wi-Fi is so slow, better to stream from my cellular provider
Not per night $15 . Sunday night, March 13, 2016 cost us $35 for the night
