Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on January 02, 2020We are on our way to Florida and enjoying a few stops on our journey. This plantation has a beautiful plantation house you can tour. The road is gravel/dirt, but our site is a large, flat concrete pad. WiFi is not great, but good enough to stream video. The AT&T cellar is 5g and full bars. The dike is between here and the Mississippi River. The park is mostly full with long term residents working on projects in the area. This area is full of industry using the Mississippi for shipping. Walking around, I can see that some sites are not as nice as the one we got.

Close to several plantations and great food. The staff was very friendly and cordial. They probably need to update their website as they do not have high speed internet or cable tv as stated (one of the main reasons I chose this place; we could only get music channels). I had to use their kitchen for internet (for a couple of ZOOM meetings) and every one who came through were not wearing masks (COVID precautions). My only suggestion is that they put the travelers in their own section away from those who live there and because of COVID the staff should wear masks. Aside from that we had a great stay.

Very small park. Not convenient to plantation visits. Nothing to do on grounds. When we arrived the host took all our information and sent us to our site. No information was given about internet, garbage disposal, laundry etc... nothing. Didn’t think about it until we thought about using internet then realized we had received zero information upon check in.
Would not recommend.

The owner was not a great host, we had contact only by phone, no info whatsoever, no internet, no pool no hot tube no internet, 50$ a night to be right in the industrial zone
