Clark Island is a private paradise that has endless possibilities for outdoor adventure. The Island is just north of Cedar Key, about a 10 minute boat ride from the public launch. Our Guide will meet you there and take you on an amazing trip through the shallow estuary out to the island. There your camp will be set up and you'll be given free reign to explore the island. Easy trail hikes around the island as well as great fishing right from shore, or just kick back in a hammock and enjoy the sights and sounds of true untouched Florida. The Island teems with wildlife: deer, raccoons, alligators, armadillos, and wild hogs. The Island is home to at least one nesting pair of Ospreys. Bald Eagles are often spotted hunting the area. Manatee and Tarpon have been spotted in the Preacher Hole. The fishing is just short of unbelievable. The famous "Preacher Hole" is literally just a cast away from the bank. 60+ pound Black Drum are routinely caught in this spot. Just around the tip of the Island from the Preacher Hole, not more than 100 yards away, is an oyster bar that is a favorite, all you can eat buffet feeding spot for the Black Drum and huge Redfish.
